Madame Alexander Dolls

I have here a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander 20 Cissy doll in excellent condition. Cissy has no cracks, splits or bad odors. She is hard plastic with poseable jointed vinyl arms and stands alone once positioned. Cissy has sleep eyes which open and close on their own with full upper lashes although some of her lashes appear to be shorter than the others? She has rosy red lips and blushed cheeks. Beautiful wig/hair with lots of curl. Cissy wears an Rare & HTF “untagged” vintage outfit of black velvet pants which snap at waist & lace blouse with rhinestone buttons. The outfit is in excellent condition with the exception of the pink sash which has a small stain or discoloring on the end(see last picture). She wears stockings with seams in back, taffeta panties and replaced heels. She wears a vintage rhinestone ring on her finger and I’ve included two(2)vintage Cissy hats. The pale pink hat has a defect on the back rim of hat(see picture) and the black velvet hat doesn’t have a chin strap. Both hats are also untagged and in very good condition. Featured here is a limited edition doll, one of only 200 Equestrian Cissy Dolls made in 2002. She will come to you in her original riding outfit, with riding jodhpurs, boots, brocade vest, lovely lace blouse, and sophisticated black wool lined hat with black veil. This hat color does not photograph well; it is a wonderful deep very dark black and my camera flashes to make it look charcoal grey. It is most certainly NOT grey — but a very rich JET black — with one smaller bow on the hatband and the large bow tied at back of the hat. The black net veil is quite full with small black dots, and falls nicely over the rim of the hat and her eyes. This doll has a twist waist, jointed knees, but not jointed elbows. Her price has been reduced accordingly. NOTE: This doll is 20 inches tall without her hat on, and 21 inches tall with her hat on. This is an elegant, rare 2002 Limited Edition doll in a very unique outfit; the riding khaki pants have the inner lining that riding pants have; the boots have real metal back zippers to facilitate getting them on and off. I have never undressed this doll or removed any of her clothing or accessories — except her hat for this photo session. Her wonderful black hat with black net veil and black bows has the Madame Alexander blue and white satin tag sewn into its lining. This doll has a gorgeous face, with her tanned skin color and deep red lips and rosy cheeks; she looks flushed from a morning ride. She has dark lashes and dark painted brows and lovely light grey green eyes that catch the light beautifully. At the corner of her eyes, her eye makeup is drawn up in a point, to accent her exotic eyes. She has tiny stud white pearl earrings in her ears. Her wonderful dark reddish chestnut hair is drawn back in a riding style bun, with hairnet; she has a seamed center part on the top of her head. I have added a pair of light lavender gloves to her outfit. This doll would make a wonderful addition to your collection or be a lovely gift. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. This doll has been kept in a darkened doll room and shows no sign of any sun fading. This is a 21 Gorgeous Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She is from the 1950s. She has on her original tagged tea length satin dress that is rarely seen. The pink short sleeve dress has tulle that wraps around her arms that is attached and closes in the front with flowers. She has pink panties and a cancan style slip. She has her nylons and original gold shoes, beautiful and not stretched out. She has a beautiful face with clear eyes, all her top and bottom painted lashes, good brows, dark pink lips and rosy cheek color. She has shiney brunette hair in original set tied with a ribbon in the back and roses on top. She wears a ring and pearl necklace. I have had her in my collection for a very long time and have never undressed her but every thing looks good. A truly wonderful Cissy doll. The dress is nice but is not perfect and has some small marks here and there, barely noticeable until looking. Stringing seems good, her eyes close when you lay her down. The last picture is just showing a matching Cissette and Elise doll that are in separate auctions. This is a 21 Gorgeous Madame Alexander Cissy doll #2232. She is from the 1950s I think 1958. She has on her original tagged rare and hard to find purple Butterfly shirt dress with three quarter sleeves that snaps in the back with all snaps. Rhinestones, velvet and lace accent the front of the dress. She has panties and the correct flocked and tulle slip that came with this outfit. She has her nylons and original lavender shoes, beautiful and not stretched out. She has her original dark purple straw hat with flowers and tulle trim that ties around her neck. She has a beautiful face with clear eyes, all her top and bottom painted lashes, good brows, pink lips and rosy cheek color(upon a closer look she has a very small mark between her ear and cheek on her face that may or may not come off). She has shiney brunette hair in original set, the back has fallen some. Her rhinestone earrings are original but I added the ring that is white crystal with real blue sapphires on each side. I have had her in my collection for a very long time and have never undressed her but every thing looks good. A truly wonderful Cissy doll. The dress is nice and crisp with no stains, tears or repairs that I can see. She is an almost perfect example of this doll and outfit. Her head is really loose so Im sure she will need restringing. This is a really pretty Auburn or Red haired Cissy doll by Madame Alexander. I really don’t know much about these dolls. She is jointed and all joints seem tight and work great. She can hold a pose. I don’t see any cracks or splits. There is some paint loss in her crotch area – probably just from over the years rubbing as she moves. One leg seems a little shorter than the other? I’m not sure why. Her auburn hair is very pretty – I think it may be in its original set. The curls are secured – for the most part – with Bobby pins. She has nice even coloring – her arms are the same color as the rest of her. She has lovely blue eyes with no missing lashes. She also has her original lace teddy in great condition – the straps are a little stretched. She us an absolutely lovely doll Please look at the pictures carefully – they are part of the description.
