Madame Alexander Vintage Cissy Tagged HTF 1957 Lavender Box Pleats Outfit & Hat. THERE IS NO DOLL INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING! Outfit consists of lavender taffeta dress with flower at neckline, matching taffeta bolero, original pink half slip with net ruffle, and original hat. The taffeta is crisp and clean. Straw, flowers, and velvet ribbon on hat are in excellent condition but there are some breaks in the veiling. Another thing to report is a place on the side waist of dress where a stand must have gotten caught and snagged the fabric, leaving some pin holes. This is covered by the bolero when the doll is dressed, but it is a flaw that should be considered. The outfit with hat is a HTF ensemble, and it will look gorgeous on any Cissy. MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY DOLL IN TAGGED ALL ORIGINAL OUTFIT 1956!! Doll is in immaculate condition. She has no splits or cracks whatsoever and shes been cleaned inside and out she is fantastic. Cissy enters the ballroom and a dramatic shimmering satin gown with a cascade side drape. Underneath her gown is a beautiful Petticoat from a newer Madame Alexander dolls dating from the 1960s. Dress bodice is lined in cotton organdy. This is the beautiful blue shade. She has on silvery blue shoes with nylons, rhinestone bracelet, necklace and ring. Shes carrying her original hat box. For your consideration I have this stunning vintage 1957 Pink Toreador outfit which consist of black velvet pants with gold waistband, lacy blouse with a sheer pink blush lining and rhinestone buttons, and the pink sash. All are original vintage items in great condition. I didn’t seen any tags but the outfit is an original boxed extra item and one that is hard to find. Top is so pretty. The lining is soft pink flesh tone on the blouse. Two little tiny speck near the buttons. I didn’t try to get off, minor but wanted to mention. Pink cumberband is original. Here is a lovely beautifully preserved Madame Alexander Madelaine doll which ranged from 1950-53. Some sellers refer to it as “Madeline”, but the tag has the correct spelling. She is the first of her vinyl-headed dolls with a hard plastic body, jointed at the neck, arms, elbows, hips & knees. This one is a wonderful 18 example from 1952 (appears in this tagged pink outfit on page 49 of the reference book Madame Alexanders Collectors Dolls Price Guide #15, by Patricia A Smith, 1990) with dark blonde shiny curls a glued on wig fine facial color with no gouges nor scratches, & pale hazel sleep eyes with real lashes. Her expression is not just a blank empty look, is so pleasant & endearing. The tagged pink organdy dress trimmed with lace & pale blue ribbon has a white cotton petticoat & pink panties. The black real leather slip on shoes may or may not be original, but are definitely by the same age, are of super fine quality, marked The Halls, in a circle inside on the sole. Her socks have a pink stripe at the ankle. Of course, the hat has been added just for fun, made of woven vinyl? Straw, a pink velvet ribbon, & vintage silk velveteen flowersa good match for the outfit. There are no stains nor losses, repairs nor cracks to the doll nor her outfita very clean & well-preserved doll that does not appear to have been played with. Her body is securely strung but is a bit loose, in so far as she does not stand alone but responds to some posing, however not sloppyjointed as is. From a No Smoke Environment. Gorgeous 1956 Madame Alexander Cissy doll in her ALL original outfit and looking absolutely marvelous! Cissy gown was designed using a shiny faded shade (on purpose faded) pale pink slipper satin accented using a small jewel circlet at bust area, the dress bodice is lined in cotton organdy. Cissy is wearing her original to this outfit turquoise very big full length slip with attached hoop (after all these years you will find that none of the hoops have stayed round) and matching turquoise nylon panties trimmed in white lace both are in EVC, original MA seamed stockings (no holes or runs), silver crisscross heels are also original to outfit EVC. To complete this beautiful ensemble, Cissy is wearing her (original to outfit) earth tone brown faux fur cape (the vintage cabbage roses were an add-on), lined in a cream color slipper satin (nice and clean inside and out) faux fur and lining are both in EVC, held together with gold elastic. Cissy is wearing her vintage single row of faux pearls necklace, her original pink round shoe box and a VHTF original early MA Cissy tag that still retains some of the old pink string. This 1956 outfit came in 5 variations of faded shades of silver, grey, blue, aqua and pink. This gown is in exceptionally great vintage condition for its many years. There are marks on gowns satin fabric (mostly back area and some rather small spattering throughout). Yet, I must say that with the large volume of material in this gown not all that noticeable. Please expand pictures of gown front and back to view these imperfections, as the pictures are a large part of this listing. Of the 5 shades of this MA Satin Side Drape gown for beautiful Cissy, the faded pink satin gown is considered the most rare and VHTF. Cissy has gorgeous aqua color eyes, full lashes, her hair is as beautiful as the day she came out of the factory (high shine, no hair missing and no discoloration). The 1955 and 1956 Cissy dolls did not wear heavy blush. The early Cissy dolls also did not sport pierced earrings. Cissy came to be prior to pierced earrings. The little sparkles on her ears were a add-on. Cissys body is clean and free of cracks, fractures, tears in rubber arms and there are no bad odors. You can pose Cissy in any way you would like. Please remember Cissy is a vintage doll and when positioning her always keep this in mind. I wrap up all of my items with care and loving hands. This is one of the sweetest Alexanders. All original Madame Alexander, Her face is flawless, excellent color, hair in perfect braids, original style. This outfit is considered a very hard to find outfit and dates back to the earliest Cissy dolls and outfits 1956. The ivory taffeta lining does have various red stains where some of the red velvet bled through (please review picture). The coat and skirt do not appear to have been laundered, as the material is not limp and shows no signs of fading, discoloration or marks on red velvet. The swing coat has a crispy MA Cissy tag (please see picture). The darling vintage Cissy sheer white blouse has precious tiny white buttons down the front and is trimmed in a very feminine tiny white lace, the blouse is nice and clean having no discoloration and does still retain the MA Cissy crisp and very legible tag. The black rim hat has been added and the black MA shoebox is a remake. Cissy is wearing her original MA all lace white slip in EVC, MA back seamed stockings also in EVC, along with her original MA clear chaton prong set ring consisting of gold-tone metal (rhinestone has darkened from age), MA original cream colored taffeta panties trimmed in white lace. The elasticity on waistband has stretched and is held in place with a tiny clear band. There is no discoloration on original panties. Cissy is also wearing her mesh gold-tone bracelet decorated with red and alternating clear chaton rhinestones all prong set (fragile), MA vintage Cissy single pearl and filigree pierced earrings. Cissy girls plastic body is free of any cracks or splits, no tears on rubber arms, no musty odors. Cissys face is bright and gorgeous, her eyes are a very clear and bright light blue (no green or brown), lashes are full (none are missing) and are lush and lovely, sleep eyes open and close as they should however on occasion may decide to stick a bit and may be in need of a tender shake, brunette hair is very shiny and clean, and as always, a few fly always. Please remember that the vintage beautiful Cissy dolls date back to as early as 1956. This pretty brunette stunning Cissy is able to pose for you any way you would like. As the early Cissy dolls are highly collectable, and will go becoming even more so in time, therefore, please do remember to be gentle whenever posing your beautiful Cissy doll and when displayed do not let her stand in a direct sunlight. Welcome to my auctions. Cissy is 20 tall, with hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms. Her dress is done in a crisp vintage polished cotton fabric, in lavender, with white polka dots. It has white baby ric-rac trim, val lace on collar and sleeves and grosgrain ribbon at waist. Underneath is a white taffeta half slip with double tulle and ric-rac trim. White panties to match. New nylons that are tight. Her hat is made of nylon with white tulle bow and white netting that ties around the hat. There are lavender and lilac flowers on the hat and matching white bag with flower decoration.. Doll is beautiful with matte paint, brows, full lashes, cheek color, gold-green eyes and full red mouth. Her hair is in original set with curls around her face and back and tiny bangs in a medium blonde color. No cracks, rubs, tears. No repaints that I know of. She was this way when I bought her. She has a glue spot on back of head that is probably factory. I can see no other reason that it is there otherwise. She in great condition. Clean with no odors. Dress and slip were made by Vintage doll Boutique, hat and bag were made by me. From smoke free home. I no longer sell outside the U. S because of postal problems…….. Beautiful 1957 Cissy doll wearing the Bon Voyage outfit blouse, skirt and pin watch. She’s 20 tall with red-blond hair and pretty sleep eyes. Cissy’s rubbery feeling arms have detached and they’re dirty but seem fine otherwise. Her head is wobbly on neck — not sure if this is normal. Her lovely face has a few small, light marks as shown — I only used a damp cloth on her, so they might be easy to clean up if you know how. Legs look a little dirty. I see no cracks along her joints or other damage except what I’ve already mentioned. Her hair seems nice and thick but is a little messy and I can see what looks like a seam just behind her bangs. Clothes need cleaning and her blouse is missing the flower at top. The pin watch looks like it’s in great shape with just minor expected wear. She’s wearing white underwear that are not tagged, and has no shoes or other clothes or accessories. I don’t know much about dolls, just what I can find online, so please let me know if you have any questions.
