Margot is an all original 14 Madame Alexander Ballerina from 1951. She is a straight leg walker and has a blonde wig, blue eyes, thick lashes and bright original face color. She wears a pink tulle and satin tutu with rhinestone appliqués on the bodice. In her hair she wears a cluster of original flowers and original hair net. I don’t think her shoes and stockings have ever been removed. She even has her original arm bands, which are so often missing on this doll. The tulle dress is one layer and then there is another layer of tulle attached to the bloomers. The dress is tagged “Madame Alexander” and is crisp and unfaded. No stains on her dress. She is so crisp and mint but let me note a few items: Wig is lifting on the left side of her face. Shoes have darkened at the edges, I imagine from the aging of the glue that holds them together. She has a rub on her left arm right at the socket and a few light marks on her chest right below the neckline of her dress, not visible when dressed. Her eyes open and close smoothly but every so often the left eye sits back further in her head than the right eye when closed. It does not happen every time and has not happened when open. No pets No odors. I bought this set about 20 years ago. It has been displayed in a case without sun or in storage. This set has never been played with. I can’t even find one now to compare with. She has beautiful green eyes and long golden red pig tails. I took a lot of pictures but if you have any more question, please ask. All the outfits are hers original. They have snaps, ribbons, lace, buttons, buckels, and real elastic. Her hair has remained in the original pony tails but could be let out and combed to different styles. She is dressed in a peach white collar dress. With satin shoes, white lace socks, ribbons and panty-loons. The trunk contains a wardrobe of 7 dresses, one pant outfit, 2 slips, one pair of pantys and one pair of white tights. Four pair of shoes and three pair of socks. One darling basket with bear. Vintage Madame Alexander CISSY Doll in Complete Pink Bride Outfit Tagged – 1956. What a darling Cissy girl dating back to 1956. Beautiful Cissy is sporting her complete pink bride ensemble. The bouquet is a replacement. The gown has all of its original decorative pieces, the tag is euc, there are no holes or discoloration in the fabric, all MA square snaps are present and without rust, I have added an additional fuller mommy made slip to give the gown a much fuller look, and added a vintage lacy beige garter all brides should have a garter right? Cissy girls darling hat with attached vail has no tears or discoloration. Very adorable looking on our girl dont you think? What is extra nice to see, is that this lovely gown and matching vail has never been laundered and therefore has lots of life left. Cissy is wearing a pair of MA original taffeta off white panties trimmed at legs with lace and the elastic still has plenty of elasticity, MA seamed Cissy stockings with no holes and no runs, slightly lose elasticity on upper stockings but they easily stay in place on their own. Her silver strappy shoes are very good, the pearl earrings are original to outfit, the ring had been added a very long time ago and the metal has discolored her finger underneath it. Cissys hair is perfectly styled and beautiful, no missing hair on her head, and the color is all even, clean and shiny. Cissy has no fractures or splits in her plastic body and there are no tears in her rubber arms, and no bad odors to this doll. Cissy has had her lashes fully replaced long ago which looks just great with eyes open, when closed you have a better view (please see picture). Cissys blue eyes are lovely and she has no problem opening and closing them, her stringing is all very good and she will pose whatever way that pleases you. Madame Alexander came out with our beloved Cissy doll mid 1955 and the Cissy Pink Bride came to be in 1956, so she is definitely one of the older Cissy girls. Here for sale is Madame Alexander Wendy Ann pink bride doll 21 inches, hard plastic, really hard to find in this dress and in this hairstyle! I think her face is Margaret faced even the tag shows Wendy Ann. Her hair is original with the hair net. She can pose beautifully but her costume has issues because of her age. Her netting dress, petticoat and veil have holes that were sewn back to avoid further breaking. The buttons of her petticoat are working but can’t be snapped after sewing the front part of petticoat, so I put non-acid tissue papers to avoid the dress buttons to touch her body. Her cheek color is there but she has some discoloration on her face and also on her body. She is clean without foul odor. She comes with everything in the pictures, please review pictures as part of description. The doll stand is not included. This beautiful doll is clean and bright, ready for your collection. This vintage Cissy has a tagged tea-length gown of pink tulle. With flocked flowers dotting the pleated skirt. Original bouquet is attached at the waist. Highlighted by original pink satin ribbon tied low in the back. The lined lace bodice has pearl trim at the neckline. The underskirt is pale pink taffeta. Panties are original while taffeta with new elastic. Stockings are original, no shoes. Original blond shoulder length wig is in the original set. Clear green sleep eyes. Body is clean with firm stringing and joints at neck, shoulders. Elbows, hips and knees. She measures 20 tall. Please note these condition issues which may not appear in the photos. Lace bodice and underskirt have some sun damage. And I have stabilized them by hand stitching to matching tulle. One hand has a mark on the ring finger. Nylon stockings have holes at the toes. Vintage Madame Alexander 1950′s Cissette is Dressed in Pink Polished Cotton Dress with White Bib of Val Lace and Buttons Style #909 of 1957 as Shown on Page 148 in Marjorie Merod’s “Cissette a Complete Guide”. Doll and Outfit are in New Condition. I took them Out of Original Box. Outfit Comes with with Taffeta Slip and Panties, both Trimmed With Val Lace. The Hat was also Included in the box. I have Added Pink Stockings and Shoes. There is a very small pin prick sized black spot near hem of skirt which is barely noticeable and I haven’t tried to remove it. Cissette Doll has Lovely Face. This is the Pink Wallpaper dress from 1956. Dress of cotton wallpaper print with ribbons and roses pattern. Puffed sleeves trimmed with Val lace. Natural waist with shorter length of 7 on skirt. Hem is narrower, 1 1/2. Sewn horizontal pleat in back bodice. There is light fading on the bodice. Otherwise very pretty and hard to find dress. All snaps are present. Not perfect but a very beautiful hard to find dress. Slip and stand are not included. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others.
