Here for sale is Madame Alexander Wendy Ann pink bride doll 21 inches, hard plastic, really hard to find in this dress and in this hairstyle! I think her face is Margaret faced even the tag shows Wendy Ann. Her hair is original with the hair net. She can pose beautifully but her costume has issues because of her age. Her netting dress, petticoat and veil have holes that were sewn back to avoid further breaking. The buttons of her petticoat are working but can’t be snapped after sewing the front part of petticoat, so I put non-acid tissue papers to avoid the dress buttons to touch her body and cause any scratch. There are some discolorations on her face and body but no serious issues. She is clean without foul odor. The doll stand is not included. This Cissy doll is Beautiful!! She has original hair style very elegant. Cissy is wearing her original pink torso gown with all original jewelry, her hair is in wonderful condition the hairnet is still there too. Cissy has no splits or cracks but there are a few scratches on her back. The slip appears to be sewn on and the tag is missing and the gown appears to have been cleaned at some point. Just in time for the holidays – An extremely rare, early 1950′s, Maggie Margot Ballerina by Madame Alexander. Original tagged and double layered pink tutu w/ gold accents, flowers, & matching satin slippers. She’s wearing a matching floral headpiece. Hair is tied up into her black net snood at her neck. Clear sleep eyes, working perfectly, with beautiful eyelashes. Pretty black ribbon tied around her neck into a bow. Original gold wrist-tag tied to her right wrist! Smoke free home, kept in a box which deteriorated. We believe this was the label that was on her box, but we may have mixed them up. If anyone knows, and can offer assistance, please contact me. I would be grateful. She has a couple tiny specks below her mouth and one on her right cheek. I’m too scared of damaging her to try and remove so I’ll leave that to your discretion. I’m not a doll expert, but other than the couple tiny specks she hasn’t any marks, chips, scuffs, cracks, fading, holes, tears, or anything that I can detect. The doll appears to have never been played with. I’d say she’s in excellent or near mint condition. Pink woven hat with silk and velvet flowers. Pearl drop earrings and wired pearl necklace. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with jointed vinyl arms. Stitched part tosca color wig in a fancy hair styled pulled up on the sides and tied with curls in the back. Green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, the ears are pierced. She has pearl drop earrings and a matching pearl necklace. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing a beautiful tagged Cissy dress made of fine pink tulle with tiny raised white dots, it has an attached pink underskirt which looks like a fine Batiste. The dress has short puff sleeves and a pink satin ribbon sash. The dress is in excellent vintage. Clean, sturdy, no stains, there are a few small holes which do not show when on. Is a full taffeta slip with inner net tulle ruffle and matching pink panties The shoes are pink stain pumps with clear sparkly heels. The hat is woven like horsehair with a wide brim, it is. Here is a Lovely HTF Cissy Pastel Pink Spring Coat from 1957 by Mad. This Coat Has Never Been on a Doll and Comes With its Original Box. There are Some Faint Spots Throughout Wich are Mostly Pictured. Most of Them are in inconspicuous places Like The Lining. I Would guess These Small faint spots are Probably from Shelf Wear. Im pleased to offer this extremely rare, and hard to find Gay Nineties purple Godey portrait doll. Cissy is from 1959. She is the strung doll with the slender non jointed arms. Lovingly referred to by collectors as the no neck Cissy. 21 tall with an adult body, and high heeled feet. All original doll to the tagged costume. This girl is so rare, that collectors sometimes have to find bits and pieces of this particular doll. Cissy wears her original costume consisting of her dress, slip, panties, hose, and jacket, as well as her hat. Okay, where was I? The tulle on her hat has been replaced. Im sure flowers have also been added to the hat as well as the jacket. Look at that jacket! She wears lace gauntlets, as well as her original earrings. The dress is pink taffeta, and it has been laundered and pressed. Not the best thing for vintage taffeta. There are wrinkles that I didnt try to iron out. There is a pin hole at the bodice that doesnt go all the way through the lining. It is also covered by the rest of the costume. A few small pinholes in the skirt. Also a few dark smudges along the back. Meaning, there is so much positive going on, I dont really get hung up on that. Use your own discretion though. Purple elastic sandals are newer. Cissy is in great condition. Many of these dolls have yellowed and their heads have split at the seams on the sides. Cissy has had very light blush added, and its been professionally sealed. Pretty, long, full auburn wig. Blue sleep eyes that stick slightly. One side of her eyelash curls up a bit. The lashes could be replaced so they wouldnt do this, but I say leave her as original as possible. You wont find this doll again in the near future. The dress is not tagged, overall excellent condition, there is one tiny spot on the back of the bodice and one tiny rust spot on the skirt, hard to see either, the collar and cuffs may not be as white as they once were. She has the original taffeta slip with ruffled net flounce on the inside and out side of the hem, the elastic waist has been. The panties are matching taffeta they have repairs. The vintage hat is fabulous, white straw, shaped wide brim with pink velvet flowers and full white veil, hat pins. Adorable pink strappy high heels with rose buds on the toes, they are newer vintage.
