1950s MADAME ALEXANDER QUEEN ELIZABETH DOLL MARGARET FACE. This vintage RARE Madame Alexander Coronation Queen doll is all original and never-played-with. She measures approximately 17 in height, and everything shes wearing is original to this doll. Her wig is minty, original and uncombed. Face color is vivid with nice red lips, and clear eyes with full lashes. Her HP body is in very nice condition and her walker mechanism works smoothly. There are some discoloration spots on her chest which is shown in the pictures. Her clothing has been gently laundered and is in good condition with the exception of a small hole along the bottom of her dress front. Also, her gloves show wear if you look closely. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy Queen Elizabeth II Doll 20. What a beautiful doll. Dress with train crown jewelry shoes. She has been on display in the estate of Rexall Drug owners for many years. Her head is a little loose. I have found no cracks in her. I did not remove all clothes but do not feel any cracks anywhere. One slipper strap has been repaired. Her gloves need cleaning. You may choose to clean hair and clothes but they look great to me. Here is a classic example of a Queen Elizabeth coronation doll by Madame Alexander. Queen Elizabeth was made in 1957 to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth. This gorgeous vintage Cissy Doll is 19 inches tall, all hard plastic with socket head, five piece walking-style body, dark blue sleep eyes, and tosca hair in an elaborate arrangement of curl. The dress is tagged as. Cissy by Madame Alexander. The Body is marked on the back of her head under the hairline: ALEXANDER. Ivory brocade gown (1). Blue ribbon sash with jewels and adornments (1). Bracelets with faux jewels (2). Jeweled dangle earrings (2). And of course: Gold Crown with Jewels (1). Condition of Clothes & Accessories. The vintage clothes are in excellent condition with no stains, rips or repairs. All are original and have never been washed. The dress and sash are in pristine condition but could use an iron, which I decided not to use for photos so that the quality would not be compromised. The gloves and undergarments are aged in color as is typical with dolls this age. Elastic on the petticoat is stretched but otherwise the garment is in great condition. Please see photographs for detail. The hard plastic head, body and moveable limbs are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or repaint. There are slight superficial markings as photographed. The eye lashes are beautifully intact. Lids open and close fully. The hair needs to be re-styled but is in tact. I smoothed the hair out to take the pictures but it will need some fine tuning to get it back in tip top shape. The items included in this listing may have wear and flaws seen in vintage dolls. For sale is a Cissy walker by Madame Alexander dressed in the Queen Elizabeth II Coronation gown produced in 1957. The doll is in great condition, no cracks; one little mark on her left toe. Gown is tagged; there is a stain around the bottom of the gown; see pictures for condition – I haven’t tried to wash or clean it. Sash is in good shape with stones attached – crown is pulling away from plastic base, again, look at pictures to determine the condition. Her head needs tightening; it’s loose, and her left eyelashes have a small area missing. Her hairstyle has a side part and the hair could use a restyle, but seems full and all here. This is a Madame Alexander doll that measures 18″ tall and is tagged “Fairy Queen. She is in her original outfit. This dolls has a gorgeous face with no issues. She does have crazing on both arms and the left leg (see pics). There also is some paint wear around her neck where her head rubs on the neck. Her dress has tanned from age and it is tattered (holes in the netting). She is still fabulous! Her hair looks wonderful and her eyes open and shut with no issues. Below is what I researched and found out about this doll. 14 or 18 tall, all composition jointed body, brown sleep eyes, closed mouth, blonde wig, used the. Face mold and markings, dressed in elaborate tulle gown, have found it in pink, turquoise & white, with gold braid trim on bodice, gold crown, wings on back & scepter. Madame Alexander-kins “Queen Elizabeth in Court Gown” 1955 #499 from the “Me and My Shadow Series”. Her Majesty is an 8 inch, hard plastic, fully jointed, bend-knee walker with a vibrantly colored “Margaret” face and functioning rare blue sleep eyes. Her Tosca colored hair is in its original set and she wears a gold-tone metal flowered with jewel inset tiara along with a pearl necklace around her neck. She is dressed in a cream colored, tagged, tulle sleeved, low necked brocade gown, adorned with a jeweled, blue “Order of the Garter” sash and lined, scarlet velveteen robe which is tied around the neck with a gold braid. Underneath she has a matching cream colored lace trimmed taffeta full length half slip and panties. She wears cream-colored fuzzy tie shoes (there is some of the fuzzy material missing due to aging on right shoe). She comes in near mint condition. She can be found on page 47 of Eleanor Schwingle Watson “Wee Friends” and page 113 of Patricia R. Smith’s “Madame Alexanders Collector’s Dolls”.
