Original Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplet Composition Dolls -NO RESERVE. Offered with a low starting price and NO RESERVE… A fabulous, original collection of Madame Alexander, Dionne Quintuplet composition dolls. They measure about 7 tall. Each has original clothing and embroidered name tag bib. The pictured, original booklet comes with the dolls, as does the bag of name tag pins. See pictures for details & condition This is a pre-owned item and not new. They all have normal wear and patina consistent with age. A couple of the shoes have damage where the snaps fell off. Cecile was pictured without a sock but we found it later in her box. Each of the four dolls comes with her original box. They boxes do have some rips and tears and show age and wear. This is a set of vintage 1930′s MADAME ALEXANDER COMPOSITION DIONNE QUINTUPLET QUINTS DOLLS. As you can see, they are fragile, a couple need the heads & legs re-attached. The clothing appears complete, although it has faded through the years. The heads have some crazing as shown. Please review all photos as they are part of the description. Two have complete name tags, one has the medallion, and two have no name tags. The backs are embossed ” ALEXANDER”. 1935 Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplet 6 1/2″-7″ composition baby dolls in a nice old basket! Each doll wears a tagged sunsuit with matching bonnet! Clothing is in great shape for the age! Each doll is marked Alexander in raised letters on upper back! You will find wee spots of paint loss and a few tiny spots of crazing! This is a wonderful 1935 set of Dionne Quints composition baby dolls! Delightful and ready to display! I will send the old handmade doll quilt and old basket with the dolls! There are replacement pins for each doll in a tiny plastic bag! Please look at the photos! No reserves on my auctions! My items are mostly used and many are antique. Please remember that many of my items come from attics/storage. I do not know where many of my items have been so assume that they are not allergy free!! The free listing tool. Offering Seldom seen are 7″ all composition quintuplet toddler baby dolls “Made in Japan during 1930′s. All five are in good original condition with only one Yvonne in pink was missing left leg she now has a replaced and repainted one with a slightly smaller foot than the others. The quintuplets have been redressed in rompers, Marie in blue, Annette yellow, Cecile green, Emilie lavender, Yvonne pink. The five cuties sit happily in a sandbox crafted from wood, a multi colored fabric canopy shades them from the sun when playing with their tin painted pails and homemade shovels. Beige towel material was used to simulate sand. Included in this listing are 5 plaid pleated skirts made from upholstery trim, white tops, seamless stretchy panties. All in great shape, clean, all limbs attached, no chips or breaks in the composition material. The only paint loss I can see is on one of the eyebrows. (see pics) They are approx. Pieces of clothing that were found with the dolls. On the back of each, theyve been marked with an initial for Cecile, Marie, Yvonne, Emilie and Annette. The dolls belonged to my friends mother and have been packed away for the last 80+ years since she was a child. Im guessing thats good as theyve been protected from the elements. This doll is truly precious with a darling pink coat, pants and matching hat! Under the coat there is a light pink dress and underclothes (see photos). All clothing appears to be original. The coat has an original Madame Alexander tag on the inside. Also, “Alexander” in raised letters appears on the back of the neck. The overall condition of this 80+ year old doll is very good. The “sleepy” eyes have some typical damage, but they are still pretty. We do not know if the eyes are original. The face has only slightly visible crazing or cracking near the hairline and the molded head looks like new! The doll also includes adorable little moccasins and socks. Since I acquired this doll I never removed the shoes or socks. The doll wears an “Yvonne” pin on her coat – I do not know if this is original. The coat has just a few tiny moth holes (see photos). All in all this doll would be a treasured addition to any vintage doll collection!!
