THEY HAVE NECK LINERS IN EACH BOX TO HOLD THEM IN PLACE. THEIR BONNETS ARE TIED WITH RIBBON AND THEY WEAR WHITE SHOES AND SOCKS. THE DRESSES ARE COTTON WITH GINGHAM BOW AND MATCHING BUD TRIMMED BONNET. EACH BABY COMES WITH A GOLD TONED HEART INSCRIBED WITH THEIR NAME. 1930′s Original Madame Alexander 8 Toddler Dionne Quintuplets Adorable! They are marked Madame Alexander and are in very nice condition for being over 80 years old. They have some minor crazing, but all are tightly strung. One has a small crack on top of her head, but not noticeable with her bonnet on. Four of the five have the same dresses along with onesies. The fifth doll has a different style dress, which does need repair along the ruffle at the hemline. This doll did not have a onesie. All dresses are tagged Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplets. It was hard to tell the color of the dresses before cleaning and once cleaned I noticed that most of the bonnets are pale pink. Four of the five have off-white center snap shoes (strap on doll with yellow outfit is damaged) and the other has a pair of MA side snap shoes. These dolls are straight from the original owner (my mother), who received them as a gift in 1936, when she was 4. Have shoes for all 5, and 3 of 5 bonnets. There is also a bonus Cecile (with some actual hair) — guessing this came from some other set. All arms and legs are still attached. She is one of the Dionne Quintuplet dolls. She is in excellent condition and all original from head to toe. She has light crazing which is hardly noticeable. Her sleep eyes are clear. She has her name pin & hangtag. She came in an original quintuplets box but it is marked Annette. The box is in great condition.
