1951 Madame Alexander Redhead Margaret Face Nina Ballerina 18 Orig. This doll has been very much loved. Her outfit needs a lot of attention, she has some marks on her face and lips, and chin. Her arm does have marks on it that may come off I dont think its chipped. She is wearing thigh highs that are ripped, and has one shoe. Like I said she was loved. HTF MA Cissy Doll Redhead in Camellia Ensemble HTF Light Blue Version w/ Tags. Here we have Madame Alexander Cissy doll she was displayed in a home for her lifetime a non smoker. She has no cracks chips or breaks, nice skin tone, red hair curled still with pins in it, original hat panty hoes under pants dress and shoes hard to believe! Her hat box has damage (I did accidentally closing it).. Has some dirt mark on knuckles and a brown spot on finger I think will come off with a cleaning I didn’t want to try after I broke part of her hat box it still intact but now needs repair , a bit of red on one ear from her red hair. She has her original ballerina outfit in nice condition Might need a pressing Silk underpants has a little staining where it creases. Her flowers are attached to one shoulder and the other is missing a few. Snaps in the back She has stockings that say up and light pink satin shoes with a matching ribbon. Her facial coloring is flawless. Her lashes are full and her eyes are crystal clear. Her hair is very shiny and maintains the original hairdo. This action is for my favorite Vintage Madame Alexander 21! Please see the pictures as they are the main description! She is a vintage item. She could use a cleaning. Her hair could use a shampooing. Vintage 1956 Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Redhead wig, in original style. Ivory taffeta and lace wedding dress. Rhinestone earrings and necklace. White strappy high heels. Original long veil with velvet flowers. Full length cotton chemise with pink silk ribbon trim. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. She has light red hair in the original style with lovely curls, there is some old glue around the edges under the hair. Sparkling green sleep eyes with amber highlights that open and close with hair lashes, painted under lashes. She has nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings and a. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing her original ivory taffeta and lace wedding dress, it has a lace apron with net flounce. The dress is overall in good condition, it is not perfect, there are some small specks on it, some light yellowing on the sleeves, a bit of lace missing on one cuff, shows very well. Underneath she wears a full length cotton chemise with pink silk ribbon trim. She has a full white petticoat with net flounce. The veil is original, made of fine net, long length, it has a crown of velvet flowers, the gold chin strap is still attached but has lost the stretch, the veil has a repair on the back side and some scattered tiny holes, it has yellowed a bit. The shoes are off-white strappy. High heels, one strap is broken at the heel, they stay on tight, I have not tried to remove them at all, these shoes can be hard to take on and off. Up for your Cissy enjoyment is this Beautiful girl from 1961. She has a gorgeous red wig and beautiful big green blue eyes. She has big red luscious lips that are her original lips. I do want to mention she has a large scratch that Ive tried to take a picture of right between her eyebrows. I dont think it takes away from her you dont really see it unless youre right next to her and even then its kind of hard to see. She has one piece arms as it was common in 1961. She does have a crack On her left leg At her knee But she wears clothes beautifully and shes been excellent model to wear anything you may have for her. Additionally, her chest area has become very paleI have tried to take pictures for you to see. There is some very small pale areas on her legs but its hardly noticeable. These dolls have been termed the no neck dolls but I have found if you tilt her head down a bit she looks amaze balls! Shes always been a great model And looks absolutely gorgeous in anything she wears. Her hair is extraordinarily beautiful! She is looking for a new home and I hope its yours. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy 1950s Redhead Garden Party. Amazing pretty doll with a couple issues. Her wig is mint still in the net. Eyelash needs repaired but face color perfect. No cracks on this doll however her fingers on both hands but off ends needs repair. Outfit is original and complete. Yellow slip lost elasticity needs redone. Black strapped shoes loose straps. Dress is great except one small seam out on bodice to mend Yardley noticed it. Snap backed and tagged. Hat is all original. This wonderful Cissy has been cleaned, restrung, a bit of blush added, hip repair done to top of right leg, and her wig cleaned and styled into original style. She has lovely blue eyes and original full lashes. She has no odors and a very nice body. She is the painted plastic type doll, not the infused Cissy. She has a few defects in her original paint on her right bottom. I have shown a picture of it. Her hips are tight as are her knees. She has no earring holes. This Cissy is wearing a tagged Cissy skirt that has the wrong label on it. It is marked Elise, but as you can see, it is a Cissy sized skirt. I guess someone was sleeping at the assembly line one day? She is also wearing a new organdy sleeveless blouse made by me. The blouse snaps up the back with 4 square snaps. It has prong set Swarovski crystals in the front and is lined with a nylon built in camisole. She has a new nylon cancan style slip, vintage Cissy panties with some repairs, a pair of vintage Cissy nylons with a few small holes in the toes (not seen when shoes are on), and a pair of pink vintage shoes that I added a white flower and some diamonds to. She also is wearing a darling horsehair type hat with original velvet flowers and bows. It is not a Cissy original hat, but it is a very nice hat and I do believe it may have come with another Madame Alexander doll. I added a vintage hat pin for it. Oops, forgot she also has a new pearl bracelet. Stand is not included. Note: Because there are so many people doing repairs on these lovely dolls and I have been asked many questions, I would like to clarify a bit of the work I do. I have had training in plastic and composition repairs and have been doing them for many years. My spa treatments are done with solvent based paints that are air brushed on, the same that are used on plastic bumpers on cars. The paint is UV protected and is permanent and will not rub off. The paint is also sealed with a UV protectant sealer. It also is permanent and will not yellow or wash off. I remove the eyes through the neck opening and replace them back the same way if eyelash and eye repair is done. I do NOT split the head open, nor would I recommend it. I try to always think of the long term effects of my repairs and fixes. As for the clothing I make, I try to make them as close to an original design as possible. I also try to use vintage 50′s fabrics as often as I can. If I do not, I will always state so. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. 50′s Vtg Madame Alexander 20 Cissy doll, entirely original outfit and doll. Sometimes called Black Widow, shes a Redhead. This was my childhood doll! Only one owner, and boxed in storage for the last 25 years at least. Right leg has a split above the knee. Left leg has an exceptionally small split at the knee. Her knees have a blush to them. Her eyes sleep and open, and are a vibrant blue. Her eyelashes are in good shape. Her panties have some holes along the creases of the fabric, and the lace is unattached in one area. I couldnt see any of the panty holes until I removed them from her body and examined them. The elastic is stretched out on the panties. The petticoat/pink can can slips elastic is worn out and stretched way too big. No holes in the petticoat. Theres a tiny mark on her right cheek, which you may be able to clean off. Likewise, I feel her hands should be washed. She has no earring holes. Her arms are a softer plastic than the rest of her. Her hairnet is still on, though it has a large hole. The hat has always been on her head, so her hair is in nice condition. The hat itself originally had a veil, which is largely disintegrated. The shoulder and hip joints look like they need cleaning. Her stockings look great except under the toe area. Only one shoe could be found, and her eyeglasses are broken. I have not removed the ring, which has a hanky attached. The dress has some fading and needs a wash. It has 5 square black snaps up the back, a jewel on the front between the breasts, and is made of silk? The skirt portion is in good shape other than some fading and needing a wash, but the bodice lining is shredded from age and is disintegrating. It should probably just be removed. The tag was mostly cut out, but is still partly visible. Some of the lace at the armholes has come unstitched. ALEXANDER is printed in raised plastic on the back of her head just under her hair, above her neck. She has a pearl necklace on, but I think that may belong with a smaller doll.
