This beauty is in excellent condition and stands 11 tall. Made in 1939, her composition is in excellent condition. Her black mohair wig is in its original set. She is original from her wonderful bonnet to her shoes and socks, however her velvet bodice and bonnet have been carefully re-dyed to achieve their original green and I have added a new green feather to the bonnet. Her dress has retained vibrant color and has no areas that have faded. Shoes are in excellent condition except for a few scuffs on the soles. A darling to add to your MA Or Scarlett collection! Rare Limited 1994 Scarlett Bride In Wedding Dress 8 Doll. This rare doll is in good condition. All my beautiful Scarlett dolls are from my personal collection. This will be a great addition to your collection. Never played with and only displayed in a glass cabinet. Doll limbs are jointed and a little loose due to age. The rubber bands that hold them have. Evidently deteriorated a little with time. The doll can still stand and or sit. Arms move up and down. Her beautiful green eyes are frozen. Common in a doll of this age. Easy to manually open/close. And they will stay in place once moved. Doll has dark brown hair. This Authentic Elaborate Wedding Dress Is Fashoned After The GWTW Movie. No stains or rips. Wedding dress ensemble is made of quality winter white satin material. Dress has great detail with floral lace and iridescent flowers and little pearl stems. Her neckline is also adorned with the same little pearls. The dress has a white silk ribbon tie at her waist. Her bouquet has the same flowers and pearls with white silk ribbon. The veil is a simple white tulle with white flowers for a band. The petticoat is white teared. Taffeta with stiff crinoline. Her pantalets are silk timmed in lace. Shoes are white satin slip-on slippers and stockings are white. Bottom of shoes are a little dirty. Scarlett From Gone With The Wind’Honeymoon In New Orleans Trunk. The metal trunk is Madame Alexander with her Logo Blue design. Approximately 6″ wide by 10″ tall by 6 depth. It is made of metal on the outside and the interior is heavy cardboard material. Vintage 1939 Madame Alexander 14in “Scarlett O’Hara”. Scarlett is a 14 inch, composition, fully jointed straight leg walker, with a vibrantly colored face. She has black hair in the original set and working blue sleep eyes. She is wearing a green silk full length double button coat and matching bonnet with light green ties. She wears a pink flowered/ green leaf print dress and a ruffle-trimmed half slip. Double ruffled trimmed pantelets, nylon socks and black snap shoes adorned with black bows complete her outfit. Please look over pixs to observe the following described flaws from aging that Scarlet has. Miss O’Hara does have a few small hairline cracks in the face that are not very visible except when looking up close, the tie on the right side of her silk bonnet is worn away some, the 2nd button down on her overcoat is faded and she is missing a bow on her left shoe. Her bonnet also has some wear in the material in areas that can seen in the pictures provided. She can be found on page 54 of Patricia R. Smith’s “Madame Alexander Collector’s Dolls” and is pictured on page 19 of Majorie Victoria Sturges UHL “Madame Alexander’s Made With Love”. She comes with a doll stand and is from a smoke-free home. Here’s a gorgeous and not often seen Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. She’s a 1961 Scarlett O’Hara Cissy from the Madame Alexander Portrait series. She comes wearing her original powder blue taffeta dress with jacket and matching bonnet. She has all of her original jewelry and accessories which include rhinestone earrings, rhinestone ring, rhinestone cameo necklace, rhinestone pocket watch pin, long black lace fingerless gloves and black velvet purse with sequins. She also comes with original panties and original petticoat/crinoline. Her high heel shoes and stockings are replacements. Her clothes are in very good condition. The only thing I see is a small stain at the top on the back of her panties near the elastic band and 2 tiny spots on the back of her skirt which are hidden in the folds of skirt. Hat and crinoline are in very nice condition. The tag is missing from her dress but it is an original outfit as seen in the last photo taken from the Cissy Files book, page 22. This doll has an enchanting face with beautiful complexion, blushed cheeks, and red lips. Her blue eyes open and close and all of her lashes are intact. Her pretty dark brown wig is in excellent condition and in its original style with upswept sides. She is a no-neck Cissy with the slender non-jointed arms. Her arms are strung perfectly, however, her head and legs are very loosely strung. Her body is in excellent condition except for a tiny crack at the very top of her right thigh which is hidden inside her torso. Her leg must be pulled out to see this. If you would like a picture of it please let me know. Her earrings were somewhat lose, therefore, I applied a little bit of glue to each post in order to secure them. Please note that in the nude picture of the doll there appears to be some darkness on her right leg. These are not marks. They are just shadows caused by the lighting and my camera.
