Vintage 1957 Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Red wig, in original style, very smooth with sheen. Tagged Secretary set; Circle skirt, jacket, blouse. Rhinestone drop earrings and necklace. Black strappy high heels. Taffeta petticoat with net ruffles. Nylon back seam stockings. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. She has red hair in the original style, the wig is very nice, smooth with nice sheen, still in most of the original set. Sparkling blue-green eyes, nice hair lashes, painted under lashes. She has nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone. Earrings and rhinestone necklace. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Good strings, she holds a pose well. She is wearing her original outfit; Cissy tagged secretary set; a full circle wool felt skirt with matching blazer and ivory sheer blouse with front lace. And woven pin stripes, buttons in the back. Underneath she has a full taffeta petticoat with net ruffles and taffeta panties, nylon stockings with back seams. The clothing is in excellent condition, clean, sturdy, no stains, no tears. The shoes are black strappy. High heels with rhinestone accents on the toes. The hat is fabulous, it has a wired base covered with green velvet, laden with velvet and silk florals in soft mauve, pink and tan tones, accented with a doted veil. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander 20 Cissy In 1957 Secretary Outfit. Beautiful sissy doll has been restored our newly strung. She had a facial. Her body is great. She holds her pose and can stand alone. Her outfit is vintage with a reproduction white blouse. Hat goes with a stripe dress but I mix things up. This outfit came with black mules which I have if you would rather have. I just enjoy dressing Cissy in all her pretty things. &####127864; Cissy relaxes with a Cosmo after a long day at the office. &####127864; If you’ve searched for the elusive secretary to add to your collection, this one is very sweet. She’s very hard to find in this condition. Her rich golden blonde hair is the iconic Cissy bob with spit curl bangs, that epitomized the working girl. Her sparkly, clear eyes are mostly still blue and the whites have not yellowed. Her creamy complexion, with high color blush, eye shadow, and satiny red lips, is to die for!!! She’s an infused face, which many collectors prefer as it has a certain translucence that’s hard to match. Her stringing is perfect for posing beautifully in any outfit you desire. She can even stand by herself if you balance her just right! Her arm and body color still match beautifully, so she can wear those revealing outfits without a problem. She’ll come to you in her original secretary outfit, consisting of a white organdy pin tucked blouse trimmed with Valenciennes lace, black felt jacket and circle skirt, who’s elastic is unstretched. Underneath she wears a batiste slip and original panties. Her thigh high stockings are a really fine replacement. Her original black high heeled sandals are a bit stretched as is so often the case. Oh, and let’s not forget her flirty little hat!!! It’s original, and in my opinion the pièce de ré·sis·tance of the whole outfit. It’s very hard to find. She will come with her original black hat box. It will need a new cord. She’s free of splits, cracks, and mold. That being said, she’s vintage 1957, so please don’t expect perfection at her age… She will show signs of age and wear. She comes from my spotless, not smoking studio. This HTF outfit consists of a tagged jacket, skirt, tagged blouse, and unique pink petal hat. The tagged jacket and skirt are made of wool felt with rhinestone accents on the lapel and skirt elastic waistband. The rhinestone accents are all present including the little chevron on the lapel, which is usually missing. The tagged blouse is made of organdy with lace trimmed armholes and a lace ruffle with 4 tiny buttons down the front, There are no rips, tears, holes, stains, or odors to the outfit.
