Madame Alexander Dolls

This late 1930s-era Madame Alexander 16 Disney Snow White all composition doll with sleep eyes, high color cheeks, closed mouth, red lips and black human hair, is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. She comes wearing her complete costume. The outfit includes a rare variation of the gown. It has a black velvet bodice and pink taffeta skirt, attached slip, white pantalets, white rayon socks and black ankle booties with pink ribbon bows and little heels. Her detachable snap-on pink velvet cape is lined in satin. An original pink hair ribbon finishes her look. The costume does not have its original cloth label. And no paper label was found. She is exceptionally well kept. She was found as shown, clean, bright, and odor free. Her open and close sleep eyes work properly however her pupils have “crystalized” over the decades and there are a few very small, fine hairline cracks under her lower eye lids, as shown. She does not have brush eyelashes (we believe she was manufactured without brush lashes) but does have three painted on black lashes at the outer part of each eye. This doll has original stringing and it is no longer tight. She has spent decades in storage and shows few signs of use or play.

This is a vintage Madame Alexander Binnie or Winnie Walker doll in her box. She is in very nice condition. She has red hair. Her blue eyes open and close as they should. When her legs are moved back and forth, her head turns from side to side. The box is in fair condition. It has been taped. She will come wearing her original Madame Alexander outfit and shoes. It includes a dress, coat, socks, shoes underwear and hat. It is in very nice condition. The hat has some spots. I’ve never tried to clean any of it. She even still has her gloves- she’s wearing one and the other is attached to it still. Please look at the pictures carefully – they are part of the description. I just love dolls! I try to describe my items to the best of my ability, but there is the possibility I may miss something. If something is important to you and I have not addressed it, please ask. This is a vintage doll – almost 70 years old – and, as such, will not be perfect. Please don’t expect her to be. Please choose what works for you.

BONUS> She is wearing a pretty tagged Chemise or teddy under her dress, not sure what to call it. Head is lose but can be posed. Her hair could use a little combing or pretty as it is. Face has slight scratch on forehead that isn’t noticeable but you can feel it. Slip has stain and elastic lose.

Vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Blonde hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged pink Ballerina dress. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has blonde hair, stitch part. Still in the original lovely curls. The blue eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, lovely coloring. She has pierced ears with. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged pink ballerina tutu dress, it has a satin body suit and crisp net layered skirt adorned with flocked and velvet. She has a matching floral crown adorned with velvet flowers. Her ballet slippers are pink rubber, with rayon ribbon ties, and she wears. Nylon seamed stocking tights. This lovely lady is a Vintage Madame Alexander Doll Madeline 16. She is in very good shape but would benefit from a thorough cleaning as the many years of love from her last owner has left her a little smudged up. This listing is for a vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll with hard plastic jointed body with vinyl arms, open & close eyes, body marked Alexander. She’s wearing a vintage red & white striped pinafore dress with small buttons, elastic waist panties, vintage black high heel fashion shoes with elastic strap, a pair of vintage hard plastic sunglasses with hinged arms (marked France Depose), and woven hat with red band and elastic strap. I won’t sell any part of this separately. Dress no longer has its label but there’s a teeny bit of cloth remaining from the tag on back near the collar. CONDITION: These are vintage items. Doll needs restoration on her leg reattached, her right eyelash looks like it needs work/fixing, right leg slightly turned, feels like a spring is pulling it that way? This is just how I got her. In the mean time I put a piece of tape on the metal bar and pushed it into the slot so it stays. Sleeves on the shirt are a bit yellowed, I haven’t tried to clean it. Shoes have rub/wear to the black part from age & play and the elastic is stretched. Normal wear to rest. Again, if you have questions or concerns, please ask before purchasing. For sale is Cissy’s HTF tagged taffeta dress and bolero from 1957, along with an adorable pillbox hat, Premier suede purse with rhinestone detail and hankie, black nylon gloves, and a vintage watch with band to match the dress. This dress and bolero is usually referred to as navy, but I see it as a sapphire blue. There is a beautiful sequin decoration on the bolero closure that really dazzles. All snaps are secure. I have had this outfit for some time, but never displayed it. There is some wrinkling from storage, so a light press would be beneficial. The outfit is in excellent condition. The rhinestones on the Premier purse are bright and sparkly. A lace-trimmed nylon hankie peeks out from one side. The gloves are not vintage. They have never been used. The pillbox hat is black straw with black velvet trim around the perimeter. It formerly had some little rhinestones on the front until my granddaughter managed to pop them off. I replaced them with a grosgrain bow that can be worn to the front, either side, or back–whatever pleases you. The hat is a Richard Original with the aforementioned change. The little watch is on its original card and was never intended to be removed before it went on the doll that would wear this outfit. The blue band matches the dress so well. A Cissy doll is modeling the outfit (minus the watch) in the last two pictures, but she, her shoes, and stand are not included in this listing. This is a very striking outfit for your Cissy.
