Madame Alexander Dolls

Gorgeous Original Vintage Madame Alexander redhead Cissy doll in rare yellow waffle top tagged Cissy Shopping outfit from 1956. Replaced hat, bag and stockings with original Madame Alexander gold heels. One heel has a broken strap. Her outfit looks to be in excellent condition. Her hair has some fly aways but all original with the metal bar still attached. Her makeup is all original. Her eyes are bright blue but missing lashes. She has earring holes. She has no splits on her knees, but does have a very small split high up on her right leg into the hip. Her bust has scratches and her legs have the common paint loss at the hip joints as well as splotchy coloring on her legs. All this is hidden by her outfit and her body is in otherwise good condition. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures. MADAME ALEXANDER Cissy doll in her 1956 Shopping outfit. I have seen this doll in this outfit referred to as Cissy shopping on Worth Avenue too. No tears, stains or odors with her gold waistband on her pants a little stretched. Blouse is perfect and the correct yellow waffle fabric (no tag). Shoe elastic may have been replaced but shoes do have the hollowed out heels. I do believe the nylons were replaced at some time. Until now I have never undressed this doll as I do not like undressing them, but needed to check for splits and I did find one on each upper leg which are hidden inside the torso. Please refer to photos. Her hat is secured to her head with the original medium green velvet tie. A matching green necklace and tiny green bracelet do come with her, but they were adding at some point. Her hair is ion its original hair set for the most part. I do see one weakened curl in the back, but not to worry as this is hidden under her hat. Her face does have some very soft cheek coloring along with eye shadow. There are a couple maybe two eyelashes missing, very minor. FYI the split on her upper right leg is just a hair line and is not open. Now I have meticulously described this doll as honestly as I can, but as you can see she is a wonderful doll in her original very hard to find complete outfit. No international orders please. 1954 straight leg walker with a triple stitch wig in a flip. Her walker works great- and she is strung well. No problems with her body – cracks or stains, etc. Stands on her own and holds position. Her face coloring is very very nice. Her outfit is excellent and tagged. There are a few tiny spots on dress near hem as shown in pictures. No moth holes in hat or jacket – all buttons, snaps and studs are in place and work. She carries a yellow purse with vintage flowers. Her socks are rayon and her black velvet side snap shoes have fuzzy bottoms. Very nice and excellent doll. This item will be insured.
