Madame Alexander Dolls

The stole is original to the navy taffeta cap sleeve dress and white ruffle hat from 1957. The dress is being offered in a separate sale. It is in excellent vintage condition. There are no odors, stains, or rips to the stole. The flower bouquet is still attached to the stole with the original staples, the leaves are dark green, and the original snaps are intact. A beautiful addition to any Cissy collection. Thank you for looking at my sale.

Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Golden blonde wig, in original curls, original barrette. Tagged long dress, blue lace pattern. Rhinestone drop earrings and necklace. Taffeta petticoats and satin panties. Vintage wide brim hat. Genuine mink stole with clasp and glass eyes. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. She has golden blonde hair in the original style, pulled to the back with the original metal barrette across the top and longer curls in the back, the hair may look more reddish in the photos but is more golden blonde, (I think the last photo where she is laying face down shows the hair color best). Sparkling blue eyes, nice hair lashes, painted under lashes. She has nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with. Earrings and a fabulous rhinestone necklace with clasp. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Good strings, she holds a pose well. She is wearing her original long gown with a full circle skirt, nice body, it is a blue lace print, fully lined. The dress is very good, nice body, some slight fading in the skirt, there are some small holes in the lining. Underneath she wears a crisp blue and a white taffeta slip with tulle ruffle and ivory. The shoes are silver plastic. She carries a lovely 1950′s real mink fur stole, it has a clasp under the head, glass eyes. Her hat is after market, vintage 1950′s, ivory woven wide brim, shaped, it is. Flowers, has the cutest miniature bird. On top, comes with a hat pin. This is a very hard to find dress! Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall, hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms. Her knees are also jointed for posing. She is wearing a gorgeous reproduction of the taffeta gown with the side drape, made in 1956. It is well made and follows Alexander’s design to the T. It is made of a medium weight taffeta in cornflower blue. Underneath she wears a long nylon taffeta slip with stiff tulle. Matching panties long, tight nylon stockings and silver strap high heel Cissy shoes, complete her outfit. She is shown with a long white faux fur stole that has a cluster of vintage roses and is lined in white satin and embroidered C. I also show her with a white feather fan tied in blue ribbon. Her only jewelry is a signature rhinestone bracelet and glued on rhinestone dots for earrings. She has no holes in her ears. She has a very dark brunette wig, pulled back on both sides into a tight cluster at her neck. Her face is lovely with a light peach complexion, blush, full lashes, one stoke brows, blue green eyes, and coral mouth. No breaks, cuts, or odors. From smoke free home. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part blonde wig. Original Deluxe Reading Candy chiffon dress embellished with. Vintage faux fur stole, feathered. Fascinator hat, white strappy high heels. 1950′s rhinestone necklace and brooch. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched honey blonde wig in curls with bangs, the hair is swept over the part in the center, curls in the back. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, her ears are not pierced. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing an original 1950′s dress by Deluxe Reading in coral chiffon with and attached net petticoat and. With prong set rhinestones. Underneath she has ivory satin panties and white strappy ankle strap high heels. Her accessories are fabulous, she carries a vintage white faux fur stole, it is satin lined with wired edges, it has a faint bluish spot on the inside lining only, it is fastened with a 1950′s rhinestone starburst brooch. With beads and jewels, it has feather trim and a full veil. The clothing is in excellent vintage condition, there is a very small darker spot on the hem of the dress, normal vintage flaws, no noticeable damage. There are some reflections in the photos. Dress has a loose stitch under one arm hole. Not a rip, just missing stitches. Dress has original tag. Comes with blue formal slip. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. Do you remember Ann Miller? The pretty and talented song and dance sensation of musical theatre from the fifties. This Cissy of the same era, probably 1956 or 1957 is in beautiful condition and would be wonderful appearing beside Gene Kelly or Donald O’Conner. She looks the part but can’t dance a lick. MADAME ALEXANDER 21 CISSY 1923 DOLL 66540 VHTF! 48/125 W CHILDREN & FUR STOLE. Up for sale is a very hard to find Madame Alexander 21 Cissy 1923 doll, model 66540. She is numbered 48 out of only 125 pieces made! She is a beautiful doll and comes with her fur stole and children. Her certificate and box are included. The box has a crease on one corner. She also comes with her original shipper. I will be putting everything inside of another box as well. I did find 4 loose beads in the box and a loose thread as shown in the last two photos. I only found the 8 tube beads (I found another after taking the photo). I did not find a round bead for the bottom of the strand. Her left elbow is swingy. If you have any questions, please ask. 1957 Madame Alexander CISSY doll in “Navy with Long Stole” outfit in very very good condition. She is 20 inches tall and a lovely red head in the bob hairstyle, with extra thick bangs. It is obvious this outfit is not original to this particular doll as you can see in the Cissy Files book pictured. This is a doll that has been redressed and she looks great. Dress is nice and crisp no damage at all. Hat is lovely with flowers and in wonderful condition along with her matching organdy long stole which also has flowers in great condition. Now both the hat and stole are a matching ivory color due to age. Her shoes are probably correct, and have the hollowed out heels, but her hose and slip are not, but suit the outfit well. As for Cissy she wears this outfit well with one half inch split on her upper left thigh that is hidden inside her torso. Otherwise she is beautiful with tight stringing, beautiful hair, and all her eyelashes are present and her eyes work well. As for her face I would guess she could have been tastefully reblushed which wouldn’t hurt her value. The ivory Cissette chemise is minty. Curlers and comb perfect and on their original card. We offer for your consideration a gently displayed, vintage 1959, I believe, Cissy doll wearing her stunning tagged Cissy velvet gown. Her face is lovely and even tone with highly blushed cheeks. Her lips are full and unfaded. Her molded eyelashes are intact and undamaged. Her eyebrows are nice and distinct. Her hair is very close to the original style with full curls of a thick and full wig with no thinning areas. Her long dangling rhinestone earrings are intact and really highlight her timeless classic face. The earrings left no sign of green in her ears. You can see that she was well preserved and treated like a queen. She is from a pet and smoke free home. Her unclouded eyes are bright, engaging, and she is mostly intact. Her coloring on her face, torso, and limbs are even in color and very displayable. Her two tone eyes are exquisite and framed by totally intact molded eyelashes and lower painted lashes. Her skin tone is light and even throughout all of her face, the torso, her arms, and legs. I can see she is mostly free of splits or cracks in her plastic legs, knees, and hips, and thighs. In the last photo you will see a small split in the seam of her thigh right above the side of her knee. Her arms are the type of arms used on the 1959 Cissy mold. Unfortunately, I need to send you a photo of her index pointer finger has a slight and unnoticeable cut on the left hand. I will be able to send you a photo, you will not be able to see an issue, but at least you will see her finger still appears very displayable. Her hands could possibly use a gentle cleaning. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to very displayable as you can find for a 65 year-old doll. You can see that her velvet formal gown is in incredible and very displayable condition. It is free of snags, holes, or thinning. The rhinestone brooch is nicely attached to the mid-bodice of her dress. The four snap buttons are well attached. The tag is still nice, bright, and bold. Her stole is bright, full, and shows no thinning areas. Her hat is full, white, and beautiful. Her entire outfit is free of odors, issues, or signs of discoloration. Her pantyhose are intact and undamaged. Her bright white gloves appear factory fresh, or close to it, the bright white is incredible paired with the deep velvet color of her dress. The rhinestone studded heels and both of her shoes are close to factory fresh with very stretchy elastic straps. The crisp slip is still bright, very clean, and still has a stretchy elastic waist. The panties appear still bright with stretchy waist. Her original hat box is very bright and displayable with no issues or damage. She was only rarely removed from her showcase by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. Her head poses nicely, and it has a very stable connection. Her arms are very poseable. Her legs are well connected. Her dress shows no noticeable signs of age related discoloration; it is incredibly rare and beautiful. I do not see any obvious thinning areas of velvet. She shows no damage, chews, stains, marks, or splits. I assure you she is complete and whole. We are consigning hundreds of similar dolls for this owner. This is another of Madame Alexander’s exquisite Cissy dolls in a perfect black taffeta dress with a brooch on the bodice neckline along with a matching black lace stole, topped off with a lovely pale pink Madame Alexander hat with white and pink flowers which compliments her long red hair in its bob style. She still carries her Lucite pocketbook which holds her sunglasses and curlers and has wonderful flowers on the outside along with the black velvet carry handle to match the dress. There is a couple of melted areas on the left 2 corners of the Lucite which does not take away from its look. The correct slip with pink rick rack trim is included along with the black strappy shoes, hose and under pants. Also notice her hankie, bracelet and ring to finish off the outfit. As for this beautiful Cissy doll she is in very good to excellent condition except for the inch and a half hairline separation in her upper right thigh. Please look carefully at my photo. Her left leg is fine. There are no tears to her arms or any splits. I do check my dolls with a strong flash light for any damage as I do not generally undress my dolls. Eyes are great with all her lashes present. No odors and was kept smoke and sunlight free. Her stringing is great!!! No international orders and Thank you so much for looking.
