This is a vintage Cissy with lovely chignon in original set with original tie and hairnet. The wig is lifting slightly in the front. She has blue eyes with a few amber flecks. Her lashes are all there. I see one small split in her left leg but it is minor. There are rubs from a stand around her waist (see photo). Cissy wears a tagged, navy taffeta dress with white organdy stole and hat. Hat and stole have original flowers. Her clothing is in very good to excellent condition with no stains or holes. Welcome to my auctions! She is dressed in a later Madame Alexander tagged pink satin gown with long pink slip. Her white “fur” stole is newer, but nicely done with pink satin lining. I added the spray of flowers to her waistline. She has pink undies, new tight nylons and silver high heeled shoes. Her hair is perfect in blond, off the face style, but has some glue residue on the back of her head that happened when she was made at the factory. She has a lovely face, full lashes, peach eye lids, brows, blush and red lips. She has no cracks and is clean with no odors. She also has blush on her hands and knees. From smoke free home. 1950s Madame Alexander 20 Inch Cissy Doll in White Lace Dress with Fur Stole. Head marked ALEXANDER; dress tagged Suzilee Shop Kilgore Texas. Size: 20 inches high. Condition: Good; couple minor rub marks to the face and body; green sleep eyes work; period clothing (one snap on the dress is loose; one small hole in the lace; elastic on the shoes is stretched out a bit; stole pinned on); stringing is tight. From the original owner comes such a beautiful 21 Madame Alexander Cissy Doll #2285 from 1958. Dressed in her original red taffeta gown with a tulle stole covering her hair and draping to the hem. She has sleep eyes, full lashes and rosy cheeks. There are no chips or cracks in the hard plastic. This doll was in storage for ages and as you can see from the photos the red stains are on the doll, slip and panties. The elastic on the slip is stretched out. The original owner took good care of her dolls as a child so the unique hair style is still in its original style with the red bow on top. The silver heels are still nice as are her earrings and necklace. The gown was never laundered. There is some goo? On one side as shown in photo. Also there are some very light aged spots here and there. I see no rips or tears in the gown or tulle stole. Issues: Stains on body and needs cleaning… Stains on slip & the elastic stretched out… Stains & spot on panties… Some small aged spots on face. She is all original with full lashes, rosy cheeks, unique hair style, no chips or cracks, legs move and knees bend…. Original earrings and necklace. Not perfect but a wonderful find!
