Her Her is still in net. She is in beautiful condition. She did have her face blushed. She lokks like she was never played with her hair is still in net with bar. Gown Is pleated cornflower blue tulle with butterfly treatment at shoulders and gather swag coming from back of Waist. Gown is accented with pale pink cabbage roses with beautiful crystals. Under skirt is dyed cotton Organdy. It has a matching taffeta slip and matching taffeta undies. It has four snaps going up back. It is tagged Madame Alexander Elise. This is considered hard to fine. I did find one tiny hole. There are is a split in the tulle. RARE ELISE Gown CornflowerTulle, RARE CISSY. Rather then split tulle it seems to be in really nice condition with no stains. This is a 1959 Cissy Bride wearing her voluminous pleated tulle gown and she is ready to add to your collection. Beautiful blue sleep eyes. She may have had work on her eyebrows, but it isnt discernible to me. Cissy has had cheek color added to her face, and has been professionally sealed. She has a porcelain-like finish, so clean and fresh! Excellent body with no apparent seam splits or repairs that I can see. Clean, odor free, well strung doll. Cissy wears her original tulle gown, slip, panties, stockings and shoes. She even wears her garter on her leg! One stocking has a tiny 1 run at the knee and the elastics have been replaced on the shoes since the old ones were all stretched out. Original beautiful headpiece and veil and replaced bridal bouquet. Two or three tiny nips in the veil and one 1 tear in the tulle skirt that disappears in the pleats. This is a far from mint 1959 Madame Alexander Blue Pleated Bridesmaid Elise doll. She wears her original gown. There are five areas in the skirt section of the gown that have some tears as seen in the photos. Beneath the gown she wears her original tagged half slip. It is very wrinkled and needs to be pressed. She also wears a seamstress made blue chiffon half slip for fullness and to enhance the blue color of the gown. She has no stockings or shoes. There are two seam splits on the doll’s knee areas as shown in one of the photos. Some of the beads on the pearl necklace and the earrings have lost their finish. The metal on the jewelry is tarnished. Elise’s face has been fully repainted. Not well done but it does give her a bright color. One of the photos shows a good closeup on the repaint so you can see it well. Her best features are her lovely brunette wig and very pretty bright blue eyes. Please look at all the photos carefully as they are part of the description. CONS: Not a mint doll. Some necklace beads and earrings have lost their pearl finish. Some tarnish on jewelry metal. No stockings or shoes. Five spots of torn pleated organza on gown. Wrinkled underslip, needs to be ironed. Added blue chiffon half slip. Replaced flowers on bodice. Two seam splits on knee areas.
