We just picked up several Museum quality hard plastic Madame Alexander dolls. Dolls of this quality RARELY come up for sale! All are mint just like the day they were produced. All of these were originally from the Lee Sargent collection! Stunning Museum Quality 1954 Madame Alexander Victoria Me & My Shadow Series 18 Tall. There were seven different models of dolls. This Rare VICTORIA #2030c, was based on the styles of the 1850′s. Victoria is a rare and all original hard plastic 18. Madame Alexander Maggie face doll. Her hair is shiny and in the original set. She has clear eyes that open and close. Her Madame Alexander tagged dress is made of blue faille taffeta with side panniers and bustle drapery all trimmed in silk braid. The bust has original stuffing for nice shape. She has her original hat and flowers, shoes, stockings and undergarments. We have left the pictures large so you can zoom in to see all the details. She wears a red bob style wig with original curl. Her eyes are a clear blue/green with full lashes. She has had a “spa” treatment which gave her rosy cheeks. There are no splits, cracks, or orders. Both upper arms have stains shown in photos. She must have worn black at onetime and had color transfer. There are ways to remove this. This is a beautiful never played winnie walker. Imagine waking up to her under the Christmas tree. What a sight to see. She was a Christmas present in the 1950s and has been in storage ever since. This beautifully high colored face Madame Alexander is a Working Walker from 1953. The crown itself needs to be reattached, there is a piece in her hair that is part of the crown, please see photo. She does have a lazy eye, please see photos. But when I hold her by the waist and tap her feet from underneath the eye straightens out. But still can go back to being lazy. It does not distract from her gorgeous face beautiful hair spectacular grand studded coat and full skirt. Her diamond, LOL from the left ear needs to be glued back in. Her slip is great the hoop is around it should be. She has her original hat box (curlers & comb) , Crown, Earrings, coat, dress, nylons, panties, shoes. Here is one of Madame Alexander’s most SCARCE dolls from 1953. She is called “Civil War” and uses the Margaret face and is a walker and is number 2010B. She is 18 tall and magnificent and comes complete including her white and gold hatbox. Eyes work well, all lashes intact. She is in remarkable condition with her white taffeta dress trimmed with lace and bright red rose buds cascading down the front of the dress, along with matching roses encircling the crown of her white sheer picture hat. She has beautiful brunette hair. She comes with all her under garments. Stringing is good and tight and walker works perfectly. This is a hard plastic doll not composition and has no odors or cracks and comes from a smoke free home, and was displayed away from sunlight. Just an amazing doll! She has been to the spa and looks amazing. Her beautiful red wig has lovely curls. This girl has clear blue eyes with white whites, lovely original eyelashes, ruby red lips, and rosy cheeks. There are no cracks, splits, repairs, or odors to this doll. Her hands and knees still retain their blush. The only issue she has are that the backs of her upper arms appear to have transfer from a dark fabric. She must have worn a black dress at sometime in her past life. There are products that can be used to remove this. She is well strung and holds a pose. A truly beautiful early Cissy doll, don’t let her get away.
