This extraordinary black net gown with its ruched bodice and pleated straps, boasts a gorgeous triple-toned brooch. It gives way to a very full skirt embroidered with dainty light pink & ivory flowers & leaves. The scalloped hemline and matching stole are such a beautiful “finish” to a most stunning ensemble! Underneath Cissy wears a slip almost as extraordinary as her dress; made with black lace-lined satin & pink ribbon-trimmed tulle, it’s absolutely gorgeous! Matching black panties, vintage hosiery & original Cissy black sandals make “the look” complete. Finally, Cissy accents with gold & pink rhinestone earrings, a pink rhinestone bracelet & a faux “diamond” ring, and she carries vintage black gloves & a matching lucite purse with a gold strap. 20 vintage 50′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Cissy has been restrung to her head and arms. She is clean and has no odors or stains. She has lovely blue eyes with full lashes. The right eye has had lashes replaced in the middle of the eye. She has had blush added and she has had a matte finish protectant sealer applied to her face. She has had no repairs to her body. Her arms are a lovely match. She is missing some of the rubber inside the socket of the right arm. This does not show unless arm is extended outward. Her hair is clean and has had all new ties added. Beautiful red hair with no missing hair or cut areas. She is wearing a strapless teddy of stretch black lace. Ruffled elastic is sewn at the top of the bodice and around the legs. We offer for your consideration a gently displayed, vintage 1959, I believe, Cissy doll wearing her stunning tagged Cissy velvet gown. Her face is lovely and even tone with highly blushed cheeks. Her lips are full and unfaded. Her molded eyelashes are intact and undamaged. Her eyebrows are nice and distinct. Her hair is very close to the original style with full curls of a thick and full wig with no thinning areas. Her long dangling rhinestone earrings are intact and really highlight her timeless classic face. The earrings left no sign of green in her ears. You can see that she was well preserved and treated like a queen. She is from a pet and smoke free home. Her unclouded eyes are bright, engaging, and she is mostly intact. Her coloring on her face, torso, and limbs are even in color and very displayable. Her two tone eyes are exquisite and framed by totally intact molded eyelashes and lower painted lashes. Her skin tone is light and even throughout all of her face, the torso, her arms, and legs. I can see she is mostly free of splits or cracks in her plastic legs, knees, and hips, and thighs. In the last photo you will see a small split in the seam of her thigh right above the side of her knee. Her arms are the type of arms used on the 1959 Cissy mold. Unfortunately, I need to send you a photo of her index pointer finger has a slight and unnoticeable cut on the left hand. I will be able to send you a photo, you will not be able to see an issue, but at least you will see her finger still appears very displayable. Her hands could possibly use a gentle cleaning. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to very displayable as you can find for a 65 year-old doll. You can see that her velvet formal gown is in incredible and very displayable condition. It is free of snags, holes, or thinning. The rhinestone brooch is nicely attached to the mid-bodice of her dress. The four snap buttons are well attached. The tag is still nice, bright, and bold. Her stole is bright, full, and shows no thinning areas. Her hat is full, white, and beautiful. Her entire outfit is free of odors, issues, or signs of discoloration. Her pantyhose are intact and undamaged. Her bright white gloves appear factory fresh, or close to it, the bright white is incredible paired with the deep velvet color of her dress. The rhinestone studded heels and both of her shoes are close to factory fresh with very stretchy elastic straps. The crisp slip is still bright, very clean, and still has a stretchy elastic waist. The panties appear still bright with stretchy waist. Her original hat box is very bright and displayable with no issues or damage. She was only rarely removed from her showcase by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. Her head poses nicely, and it has a very stable connection. Her arms are very poseable. Her legs are well connected. Her dress shows no noticeable signs of age related discoloration; it is incredibly rare and beautiful. I do not see any obvious thinning areas of velvet. She shows no damage, chews, stains, marks, or splits. I assure you she is complete and whole. We are consigning hundreds of similar dolls for this owner. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. Stunning Red-Head/Auburn Doll Fancy Hair Style – Ready to Dress.. Heres an extremely beautiful early vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll with wonderful reddish/auburn colored hair in a fancy hair style. She has amazing blue pinwheel eyes and full lashes. Her all original face color is stunning… A wonderful complexion, red lips and pink blush. She has her original glued on Alexander diamond earrings sooooo glamourous!!! I took pics in different light to try and capture the true color of her hair but sadly, my camera is not up to snuff… The photo’s make it look dark(er) but in person, it’s much more red… As lovely as she is, she does have some minor flaws including scratches on her chest, back & feet, scuffing along the neck, some glue residue along the hairline and a professionally repaired small split on her upper left hip (which you don’t see as it’s tucked into the body cavity). Despite the minor issues, she is definitely one of my most beautiful dolls…. A huge sacrifice for me, but a huge win for another collector. I know you will love having her in your collection! We offer for your consideration a gently displayed, vintage 1955 through 1959 Cissy doll with her original panties and slip. Her sewed on outfit and sewed on red boots were designed and created by the courturiers of the Ice Capades in a minature model of the authentic costume. This is a prototype actually worn in one of the extravaganza shows. Most researchers of these Cissy Ice Capades costumes believe there is only one costume made for each show. You can see that she was well preserved and treated like a queen. She is from a pet and smoke free home. Her unclouded eyes are bright, engaging, and the eyelashes framing her eyes are intact. — —-You can see that the eyelashes on her left eye are full, but they are separated leaving a little space between the lashes. Her eyebrows are faded, but they still display well. Her lovely hair is glued onto a thick muslin cap. It appears very full with no missing or thinning areas. The style now pulls some hair away from the back left side of her scalp, which can be restyled to create a more full appearance. It appears even the little thread tie backs in her hair are original. She still has some of her curls. –Her two tone eyes are exquisite and framed by totally intact molded eyelashes and lower painted lashes. Her lips are full and unfaded. Her skin tone is light and even throughout all of her face, the torso I can get a view of, her arms, and legs. I can see she is free of splits or cracks in her plastic legs or her soft vinyl arms. Her hands, arms, and legs could use a gentle cleaning. Her hair net is still attached, but I did not want to remove it or pull it over her hair because I do not want to pull at her stringing. —–This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to very displayable as you can find for a 65 year-old doll. You can see that I did not remove her clothing because her clothing was never removed. It is all sewn on to her- the bodice, skirt, and apron are secure with stitches. The dress shows multiple deteriorated areas, but from the waist and up is impressive. The crisp and multi-layer slip is still bright, very clean, and still has a stretchy elastic waist. The panties appear never removed and still bright with stretchy waist. —-She was only rarely removed from her showcase by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. Her head poses nicely, but it is not the most stable connection. Someday you will want her head restrung. Her arms and legs are still the poseable vinyl plastic and still ready to pose for you, even after all of these years of display. —Although her dress shows major noticeable signs of age related discoloration, it is still incredibly rare and beautiful. I do not see any obvious missing areas of sequins. You can see some of the faded areas on the patches of her dress. Her crown is a fantastic piece of history in itself. It appears complete and amazing. It does have several pin holes in inconspicuous places. Thank goodness it was pinned on, it would have been lost. —She shows no damage, chews, stains, marks, or splits. I did not remove her clothing, but I was able to check her over visually. Stunning 1954 Madame Alexander 20 HP & Vinyl Cissy Doll in HTF Tagged Evening Gown. She is marked “Alexander” on the back of her head. She has a blonde wig in original set, blue glass sleep eyes with full upper lashes, a closed mouth and blushing cheeks. Her facial coloring is excellent. She is jointed at neck, shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. The stringing is fine, she can still hold a pose. There are no cracks or split seams and all of her fingers and toes are intact. She wears her “Cissy” tagged blue heavy slipper satin cap sleeve evening gown with silver braid and sapphire accents, a bandeau of flowers and rhinestones, a nylon & net slip with matching underpants, stockings and heels. The outfit is in excellent condition but does have a tiny tear near the bottom of the “V”on the back of her dress(hard to see, look at last picture). She is missing her ostrich feather fan.
