If Madame Alexander Cissy gowns are your passion, this girl will light up your life! MA VINTAGE HARD PLASTIC MINTY CISSY DOLL IN 1957 GARDEN PARTY GOWN STYLE #2160. Height: 20 No cracks or open seams. She has jointed soft vinyl arms, hard-plastic. Jointed legs and an infused plastic face. This Cissy exemplifies why this Madame Alexander is considered “the fashion doll of the Century”. Nothing on this doll has been altered. Shiny beautiful shade of brunette wig in original up sweep do with original bar across crown of her head – pulled back into a thick ponytail at the nape of her neck. Lovely blue/green eyes with a light gray smokey eye shadow and full upper lashes. Classic red lip coloring. Blush retained on body in appropriate places. ALL ORIGINAL ENSEMBLE IN AS CLOSE TO MINT AS IT GETS. No alterations or laundering to gown or hat. No holes or tears in net tulle -no rolling at hemline, cutting or shortening of net tulle. Crinoline shell pink slip still retains crispness and crinkle like it is right out of the factory. All accent flowers at hemline with mint rosebud on pink satin sash. Wears the signature “blue diamond” ring that is specific to this ensemble. Also the diamond earrings and shell pink pearl necklace and little pink gloves to set off her pink gown. Cissy is wearing a dotted Swiss tulle, over a blush pink taffeta, accented with a pink satin sash with a rosebud at the waist. The gown has a deep square neckline with a small ruffle and sheer short puff sleeves. The hat is a horsehair straw lace hat that sort of bends or looks like a ripple effect around the face, trimmed in pink rosebuds. I can safely say Rick Nelson would not have left his garden party without this gorgeous Cissy on his arm! SHE REPRESENTS THE GLAMOUR OF THE DAY AND OF COURSE NO ONE COULD DO THAT BETTER THAN MADAME ALEXANDER! THIS IS STYLE #2036 AND THIS GIRL HAS ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES YOU COULD ASK FOR! Height: 20 inches NO CRACKS, OPEN SEAMS OR SPLITS. SHE HAS JOINTED SOFT VINYL ARMS AND PLASTIC JOINTED LEGS WITH AN INFUSED PLASTIC FACE. This beautiful blonde is the very essence of Tinsel Town glamour!!! From her classic original blonde up sweep to the glistening gems in the heels of her stilettos, this Cissy is the up-coming fashion icon for Cartier. The accent blushing on her body highlights and contours her peaches and cream complexion. Cissy has golden blonde hair with the up sweep hair do – curls on the crown and hair pulled back at the nape of the neck. Her hair is encircled with a double strand of pearls with light pink roses attached to either side. Cissy has blue-green eyes with full upper lashes and has coral colored lips. Cissy is wearing a gown out of the FAO Schwartz catalog, 1956, that describes this gown coming in 3 different colors. This rose gown is noted as being the hardest to come by. The gown, as I have said, is minty. I still have the original box it came in though the lid is pretty torn up on the edges. The gown is a heavy rose colored satin with a very slightly darker colored rose making a pattern throughout the gown. I don’t know if this shows up in the picture or not. It is lined from the bodice to the hem in a light colored rose organdy. The gown is accented with rhinestones at the shoulders and on the big diagonal sash that cuts across the dress. It flares out from the dropped waist to a large skirt. There is a light pink crinoline slip that gives just the right amount of fullness to the gown when it is worn. The gown is accessorized with long white fingerless mitts, the original diamond ring, a single strand rhinestone bracelet and the original rhinestone necklace. I had the original rhinestone earrings on her when we started this photo shoot, however, one dropped off during the session and for the life of me I cannot find it!!!! It is like it took legs – had a couple people help me look, to no avail. I will continue to look for it and if someone prefers it over the ones I had to put on her for the photo shoot, we will try to accommodate. Cissy was in a real snit over the whole thing. Cissy has her MA stole draped over one arm – it is in excellent, clean condition, should she get chilly. Cissy has on original MA ivory panties and her usual seamed hosiery with lovely gold strappy heels – also sprouting bling in the heels! Cissy is off to the Biltmore Hotel for a night at the Oscars. No doubt she will make the kind of entrance that only our Cissy can make in this breathtaking ensemble! Please look at the pictures carefully – they are part of the description.
