Vintage Madame Alexander highly sought after Brunette Cissy girl in original black velvet gown – Tagged and in Excellent used condition. Beautiful Brunette Cissy girl is sporting her gorgeous full length black velvet gown with crispy tag, fabric has no holes, discoloring or snags, has all of the original MA square snaps, stitching appears to all be original, embellished trim is all original and gown has never been laundered, black gauntlet fingerless gloves are MA originals, long nylon under slip with ruffle at bottom is also MA original and MA original cream taffeta panties trimmed in lace, Cissy is sporting her original MA seamed stockings in very good vintage condition. I have added a sparkly hair decor with clear cut rhinestones in a flower setting attached in her hair with a hair pin and she also has an added bag designed by Richards Originals that match nicely to her hair jewel. Newer silver strappy heels very close to originals. Additionally, added an original Cissy MA silver mesh bracelet adorned with clear round rhinestones mostly found on MA Cissy Queen dolls. Next, added is the emeule white rabbit fur wrap with a touch of black trim and a clip to hold together from the 1950s from Japan, Cissys body is nice and clean, having no bad odors, no fractures in plastic body and no tears on rubber arms, wig is nice and clean having no bald spots and in the original set, there are a few fly aways. Cissys facial colors are not pale and not overly bright, rather in the middle of the color scale. Being of the same consistency as Cissys facial colors would have looked when she left the factory in the mid to late 1950s. Cissys stringing is nice and tight and she will pose in whatever way you might choose. The head is a tad tight but still very manageable in posing as you can see in the photos. Since Cissy girl is one of the earlier Cissy dolls she does not sport pierced ears. This well taken care of Cissy doll through all these years has been my absolute pleasure to clean up and dress in her original attire. Some of us adoring vintage Cissy doll lovers, just cannot get enough of. Some of us will never stop our beloved vintage Cissy girl. Madame Alexander “Alice in Wonderland” Doll. Hard plastic head, body, legs arms. Head, Legs and arms move. Legs are a bit stiff. Eyes are clear, open and close (sometime stick), no fogging and have real eye lashes. Hair has a style that looks to have been. Played with but with still the same style and a white bow in her hair. This is a wonderful 1955 Madame Alexander-kins Doll wearing an Alex-kins tagged ballerina Outfit. She is SLW kins which means she is a straight leg walker. She is in excellent condition with original dark blonde triple stitched. Wig, brown brows, light green flutter eyes, black under lashes, molded lashes, pink blushed spa cheeks and red lips. Spot on her black lash was a dirt spot and removed. Her body is in excellent condition with arms that will hold a pose and walker works. The books say the dress is very hard to find on page #150 of the Cissy Files, but I think it is rare. The dress is in excellent condition with no rips, holes, or odors, the elastic is still stretchy, the lace is pretty. There are a couple of tiny brown spots on the sleeve and bodice of the dress, shown in the last two photos. They may soak out in oxiclean. Vintage Madame Alexander CISSY Doll in Complete Pink Bride Outfit Tagged – 1956. What a darling Cissy girl dating back to 1956. Beautiful Cissy is sporting her complete pink bride ensemble. The bouquet is a replacement. The gown has all of its original decorative pieces, the tag is euc, there are no holes or discoloration in the fabric, all MA square snaps are present and without rust, I have added an additional fuller mommy made slip to give the gown a much fuller look, and added a vintage lacy beige garter all brides should have a garter right? Cissy girls darling hat with attached vail has no tears or discoloration. Very adorable looking on our girl dont you think? What is extra nice to see, is that this lovely gown and matching vail has never been laundered and therefore has lots of life left. Cissy is wearing a pair of MA original taffeta off white panties trimmed at legs with lace and the elastic still has plenty of elasticity, MA seamed Cissy stockings with no holes and no runs, slightly lose elasticity on upper stockings but they easily stay in place on their own. Her silver strappy shoes are very good, the pearl earrings are original to outfit, the ring had been added a very long time ago and the metal has discolored her finger underneath it. Cissys hair is perfectly styled and beautiful, no missing hair on her head, and the color is all even, clean and shiny. Cissy has no fractures or splits in her plastic body and there are no tears in her rubber arms, and no bad odors to this doll. Cissy has had her lashes fully replaced long ago which looks just great with eyes open, when closed you have a better view (please see picture). Cissys blue eyes are lovely and she has no problem opening and closing them, her stringing is all very good and she will pose whatever way that pleases you. Madame Alexander came out with our beloved Cissy doll mid 1955 and the Cissy Pink Bride came to be in 1956, so she is definitely one of the older Cissy girls. Original bouquet is attached at the waist. Highlighted by original pink satin ribbon tied low in the back. The lined lace bodice has pearl trim at the neckline. The underskirt is pale pink taffeta. Panties are original while taffeta with new elastic. Stockings are original, no shoes. Original blond shoulder length wig is in the original set. Clear green sleep eyes. Body is clean with firm stringing and joints at neck, shoulders. Elbows, hips and knees. She measures 20 tall. Please note these condition issues which may not appear in the photos. Lace bodice and underskirt have some sun damage. And I have stabilized them by hand stitching to matching tulle. One hand has a mark on the ring finger. Nylon stockings have holes at the toes.
