Vintage Madame Alexander Lissy Doll 1248 Blue Nylon Tulle Bridesmaids Dress 1956. Beautiful blue sleeping eyes in great working condition. Dress is a beautiful light blue and has all snaps intact. She has a headband around her coifed brown hair. She has white bloomers (a stain is shown in the pictures), nylons and has a sparkly garter. Blue shoes and a bouquet are included. She came in a box (very worn) that is marked as a pink blonde doll which she is not. I do think she is Styke 1248 but should say Blue possibly Tosca? Her dress does have some creasing/crinkling in places and a slightly wrinkled back ribbon. She is so lovely.

Madame Alexander’s “Cissy” in tagged floral tulle gown. I believe this to be #2282 from 1958. Her dress, gloves, hat and jewelry is all original. Her hair is untouched and has the space bar. She is a gorgeous example, Ive owned her for about 20 years and shes been in a glass case on display the whole time (no sunlight, no pets, no smoking). I have enjoyed her, but its time to downsize. She does have some flaws, which are detailed below. Dress has large tear in the front and small tear on the left side. It looks like all pieces are there so this could be repaired by a skilled person. You cannot see the tears when shes on display, theres so much tulle the tears disappear. While there are no smells, her underskirts have browned with age. The flowers on her hat have some browning as well. I believe her tag, shoes and pantyhose are a very good replacement, just too new looking to be original. A little green stain on her ring finger from the metal of the ring. Arms have flecks of paint from the dress and some discoloration. Small discoloration on forehead. Her eyes are crystal clear and open and close smoothly. Pink woven hat with silk and velvet flowers. Pearl drop earrings and wired pearl necklace. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with jointed vinyl arms. Stitched part tosca color wig in a fancy hair styled pulled up on the sides and tied with curls in the back. Green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, the ears are pierced. She has pearl drop earrings and a matching pearl necklace. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing a beautiful tagged Cissy dress made of fine pink tulle with tiny raised white dots, it has an attached pink underskirt which looks like a fine Batiste. The dress has short puff sleeves and a pink satin ribbon sash. The dress is in excellent vintage. Clean, sturdy, no stains, there are a few small holes which do not show when on. Is a full taffeta slip with inner net tulle ruffle and matching pink panties The shoes are pink stain pumps with clear sparkly heels. The hat is woven like horsehair with a wide brim, it is.
