Don’t know much except I bought her at an estate sale and girl said all original. She shows a little wear but is stunning. Up for your consideration is this exquisite vintage 1950s Cissy doll by Madame Alexander. She is beautifully dressed in an original Madame Alexander outfit. Her blouse has a couple of very small spots but overall in very good condition with no holes or tears. Her blouse is not tagged but original to her outfit. Her tagged skirt is in excellent condition. Her slip has a couple of small holes but it’s elastic still has its stretch. She wears earrings, a bracelet and a ring. Her vintage straw hat is adorned with lovely vintage flowers and veil netting. She carries a darling handbag reminiscent of the era. Her vintage high heel shoes have accent lace and flowers. She has an infused face with great color which is highly desirable. Her eyes are clear and still a beautiful blue. Aside from a few small areas of discoloration, this doll’s face, torso and limbs are in great condition considering her age. She has no cracks or breaks. Her hair still has its original metal bar. She is even more stunning in person. Please look at all of the pictures carefully as they are an important part of the description. She has no odors and comes from a smoke free home. She has been stored away from direct sunlight.

The bodice is made of tulle with three metal snaps on the back. There is a lace veil with a floral crown. This doll has a white fur wrap around her shoulders. She also has lovely satin panties with lace trim. She has small satin shoes with white bows. She has pink garter in shape of a daisy with small clear stone in the middle. This doll has jointed arms, knees, and ankles. Her head also moves. She has pretty blue eyes that open and close. This doll has not been played with at all. The arm, knees and ankles all move well. The hair is in good condition. The original box is included. She would be a fabulous gift for a collector or a child who would appreciate such a gorgeous doll.
15 composition Madame Alexander’ Flora McFlimsey’ with composition body and limbs, red human hair, swivel head, glass sleep eyes with eyelashes, painted facial features including freckles, original tagged dress. Marked’ Princess Elizabeth Alexander Doll’ on back of head. There are a few fine craze lines, but generally, the composition is in excellent condition. Limbs freely move and she can stand on her own. Her eyes appear to be golden brown with a ring of blue around them. The other dress is a blue Velvet untagged dress. Included are two bonnets and muff. The straw bonnet is falling apart at center fold. Flora McFlimsey is based on the character Miss Flora McFlimsey of Madison Square, from William Allen Butler’s famous satirical poem; Nothing to Wear published in 1857.

Lovely Original Madame Alexander Lissy Doll 1956. Lissy is in good condition, her hair near her face seems to be a darker color, leaning towards brown or red. Her outfit is nicely kept, known as “a little Danish bonnet”.
