Madame Alexander Dolls

The set includes an ivory satin theater coat lined in aqua taffeta, and an aqua taffeta dress. The coat is accented at the neck with a large aqua taffeta bow. This version does not have the coin trim at the wrist. The tagged dress has cap sleeves, a dropped waist, and gathered bust. The taffeta is crisp and clean like it just left the factory. She also wears a pink taffeta tulle trimmed cancan slip, val lace trimmed pink taffeta panties, and seamed stockings, silver shoes, and a faux diamond ring. The clothes are all in superb condition, never having been washed or ironed. There are no holes rips tears or stains to the clothes. The elastic on the shoes has relaxed but still stay on well as seen in the photos. The doll is pictured on page #59 of the book Cissy R. There are no splits or cracks on the doll. I don’t think the doll was played with. She has lovely original coloring no spa treatments or touch ups. The doll has clear blue eyes, full original eye lashes, ruby red lips, rosy cheeks, and a gorgeous blonde wig in the original updo set. The original box is also included. It is not in very good condition being taped in places, and pieces of the sides of the top are missing. Still it is the original box and 65 years old. She is a beautiful early Cissy doll in a minty outfit that would be a wonderful addition to any collection. The pictures are the main description. A gorgeous, high color doll that comes with her box and wrist tag. There are no stains, rubs or scratches. Blue sleep eyes with all their lashes. Hair is still in factory set, original flower head band. Vinyl jointed arms at shoulders and elbows. Jointed waist and ankles. Both arms have has some dirt from storage. Will save the cleaning for the new owner. Clothes are crispy clean, no stains or holes, tagged Alexander Elise. The dolls flamboyant matching shoes and hats were legendary. Cissy was a trendsetter in fashion; from classic suits and coats to casual peddle pushers and sandals. People even collected the ads picturing her newest outfits. All year long, collectors waited for the newest fabulous fashions. She had formal dresses of chiffon and satin, including a special coronation dress. Beachwear like you would see on affluent ladies at the beach, and elegant evening wear such as one might see at the opera. Her cotton dresses were known for the wide, wide skirts no skimping on material here. The skirts stood out with the help of the exquisite bouffant slips often trimmed with yards of net and lace. Cissy had elegant underwear as well, as any well-dressed lady of her time would have worn. A girdle was offered to slim her already perfectly proportioned hips. Unlike the fashion ladies of today, Cissy was not so thin she was rounded but perfectly proportioned, making everything she wore look elegant and desirable. Madame Alexanders Cissy was the first modern fashion doll with an extensive wardrobe. This doll came from the original owner, who played with her very carefully and treasured her. Vintage Madame Alexander CISSY in All That Bling. Beautiful Cissy In a newly made gown. Its made from black cotton velveteen. Its line with black cotton organdy. Rhinestone straps row of rhinestones accent waist. Cascade pink flowers off set from the center. Back Closure with four snaps that are accented with rhinestone buttons. Skirt has two layers. Under skirt is taffeta and top skirt is chiffon. Hem of skirt is edged with black satin. A black pair of fingerless gloves come with it. Offered is a beautiful Nude Vintage 20 Madame Alexander CISSY Doll. She is in good “Used” condition. She has a bob type style blonde wig (not original) and has blue, green eyes that open and close. She has full eyelashes. Her lips and eyebrows were redone. Her stringing is good and can pose well. She had a crotch split that was repaired. There is a dimple in her right upper arm and a slight scratch below her right eye. Her right ear looks like someone tried to pierce it, but it is hidden by her hair. There is also a slight discoloring on her upper chest. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description. She comes nude, no stand. Only US offers accepted. Madame Alexander Little Women Set From 1949-50′s. 14 Inch Hard Plastic Dolls. Marme Meg Jo Amy Beth. Madame Alexander “Little Women” set. Five 14 dolls include, Marme, Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth. All 5 doll dresses are in FAIR/POOR condition. All dresses have holes, rips, tears, stains, fading, etc. Jo’s has a lot of holes-please see photos. All dolls socks are in very poor condition- they are stained, mismatched and have lots of holes. Megs hair is stiff. Amy has lazy left eye and gap in bangs. Beths eyes need a little help opening. One of Beths shoes is missing bow. The dolls, pantalets and shoes are in nice condition with the exceptions listed above. Dolls have been restrung with surgical tubing bands. VINTAGE MADAME ALEXANDER 1957 CISSY DOLL #2120 Collectors Prize/2 Outfit. This is a beautiful doll, one owner and un-retouched. Cissy is wearing her original tagged taffeta yellow floral print dress with a grosgrain waist tie. She also has her original matching pantaloons and thigh high seamed hosiery. The dress is in perfect condition except for a small stain on the back side of the left sleeve. Probably could be cleaned. The dress and all snaps are in perfect condition. No rips, tears fraying or discoloration. In fact, the taffeta is still very crisp and obviously of good material quality from the 50s. The hat is in excellent condition and has the original flowers on it. NO replacements on this doll whatsoever. Her left earring is missing. Hair is lovely and still covered in its original hair net and tiny pins. Her head seems to want to list slightly forward when moving her around but head is fully intact and moves well. Her blue eyes are crystal clear and eyelashes are like new. There are absolutely no blemishes on her face! Also included is her original navy blue tagged taffeta dress with organza cap sleeves. Along with this is the original straw hat in very fine condition and the stretch chin strap which is still intact after all these years. This doll and her accessories are a real gem! The dress and snaps are in beautiful condition. No rips, tears or stains. Everything has been stored and wrapped in tissue paper in my smoke free home.
