Madame Alexander 1956 tagged Dimity Clover Dress. This dress is labeled Hard To Find in the latest Cissy books. It is in good stored condition No smells. Tere is a black spot in the front left fold of the dress shown in the 3rd picture. Original sash is bright. Of the sash around the waist. I used a slip underneath for the pictures. Slip and stand are not included. My toys are all around 20-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures. This listing is for a Madame Alexander Cissy doll from 1957. She is 20 inches tall and is made of hard plastic with vinyl arms. She has joints at the head, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Joints are in good working order, and stringing seems fine. Her brunette wig is still in the factory set, having never been combed through. There are some fly-aways, of course. The back is still tied with its original factory string, and the original spanner bar is still in place. Her eyes look mostly blue, but with some green mixed in. They need some adjustment. Her original brush lashes are all there. She has earrings that appear to be glued in, and some residue shows. There may have been more to them originally, but the just the studs are there now. Her vinyl arms have no tears, and the flanges are intact. They could probably use a light cleaning. She has a split at the top of her left leg that is well inside the torso. There is also a crack in the hard plastic of her crotch that does not extend all the way across (pictured). There are also some rubs here and there that are pictured. The ones on the backs of her lower legs are very light and would never show through stockings. There is a small “boo-boo” on her left cheek that is pictured. Please look at the pictures carefully to determine the condition of the doll and ask questions if you have any. She could be dazzling with just a little bit of work. We’ll see how it works out. The doll is pictured on page #45 of the book Cissy R. There are no splits or cracks on the doll. She has lovely original coloring no spa treatments or touch ups. The doll has clear blue eyes, full original eye lashes, ruby red lips, rosy cheeks, and a gorgeous brunette wig in the original set. In addition to the “Yachting Ensemble” she will also arrive wearing her original faux diamond solitaire earrings, red Cissy shoes, a faux ruby ring, new navy blue velvet ribbon in her hair, and she carries French depose white sunglasses. There are no holes rips or tears to Cissy’s clothes. The elastic on the waist of the pants has relaxed as you can see in the last photo. The halter top is exceptionally nice. It is usually found with frayed lining, the lining on this top is minty. The tag on the jacket is excellent no sign of ever being washed. The emblem on the jacket shows some wear and missing beads which is often seen, very often the emblem is missing altogether. She is a very clean doll and would be a wonderful addition to any collection especially in this very special outfit. The pictures are the main description. Please examine them and ask questions. There are no holes, rips, tears, or odors, to the dress. The tag is in excellent condition. This sale is for the dress only. This is a nice Madame Alexander Cissy doll from the 1950s. Body has no cracks except one st the top of the leg that you cant see really unless you peek inside the torso. The Cissy files book refers to it as Diamond Quilt. This dress came in pink or blue, the blue being the harder to find. The original metal snaps are intact. Condition with no repairs. There are NO stains, marks or tears on the dress. THE PALE BLUE ORGANDY PUFF SLEEVES AND THE MATCHING SASH ARE NOT FADED. The elastic in the sleeves is not stretched. Maybe just what you need to complete or upgrade your vintage Cissy outfit. The dress is much prettier in person then the actual photos. This outfit contain a polished cotton dress with a very nice sheen with a unique pattern of pale blue and green flowers. It has a square neckline, pale blue organdy puff sleeves and a matching sash at the. That ties in the back as a large bow. The skirt is lined in a net style. A pair of pale blue elastic heels with pink bottoms and a faux pearl necklace and matching earrings. The dress and bow are slightly wrinkled from storage. The bottom of the heels has light. Other than that this outfit is in GREAT shape. The mannequin stand is. Included with this set. Please ask questions if needed. Look at all of the photos because they are part of the description. Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Strawberry/ honey blonde wig, in original curls. Green/ amber sleep eyes. Rhinestone earrings and necklace. White strappy high heels. Pillbox hat, lace covered satin with pink silk flowers. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. She has strawberry/ honey blonde hair in the original style with lovely curls, the hair is pined in place. Sparkling Green-amber sleep eyes that open and close, hair lashes, painted under lashes. She has nice coloring, red mouth, pierced ears with. Drop earrings and a beautiful rhinestone. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. Good strings, she holds a pose well. She is wearing a custom handmade replica of the 1950′s. Pants suit set, black velvet pants, pink sash and lace jacket with rhinestone buttons. No damage, very finely made exactly as Madame Alexander. Shoes are original off-white plastic strappy high heels, one heel strap is broken, I have not tried to removed these as they can be hard to get back on. The pillbox hat is vintage, wired inside, satin covered with re. Lace and tiny pearls, pink silk flowers and leaves adorn the side. She carries an original 1950′s plastic hatbox purse which opens, the handle has a split under the pink bow. The listing is for the doll and clothes shown only, no stand.
