Cissy is Dressed for a Spring Fashion Parade. Wearing a beautiful fashion of flocked dotted organdy is vintage Madame Alexander Cissy, who originally wore the 1955 blue slipper satin evening gown with silver braid trim. Her hairstyle is unique to that doll which helps to identify her. Cissy that is rare to find for that reason. Here she is dressed in an outstanding creation by the Primrose Doll Shop. Frothy, light, and delicate describes this dress perfectly. She also wears a strand of pearls around her neck, slip, panties, and stockings with coordinating pink strappy high heels. Cissy carries her lucite purse and pink wrist gloves. In her hair in a charming bouquet of cabbage roses. Cissy is in clean excellent condition but her lower legs have some loss of color in spots which does not show easily through her stockings. Cissy’s eyes are a lovely hazel color, lashes are all there and just a bit thin on her left eye. Hair is in the original set. Face has been professionally refreshed and sealed. Has a mild been in storage smell. You know the one! I did wash this by hand and let it air dry. I will leave the rest to you! Seams, button holes and buttons intact. Has its Cissy tag intact. For your consideration I have this stunning vintage 1958 dress for your Cissy doll. I believe it is one of the boxed extra fashions. It’s a soft light blue dotted swiss shirtwaist in very nice condition. It is made of light blue nylon flocked dotted fabric with flocked dots and has a lace trimmed camisole bodice. Lace trimming around the collar, puffed sleeves and down the button up bodice. Classic quality doll dress from Madame Alexander for your vintage Cissy doll. There is one tiny pick hole in the ruffled skirt and a very small fray at the bottom of the placard. I’ve marked the area in the photo’s very minor. I’ve taken lots of photos for you to see. This is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissette who still retain all of her original vivid facial features and highly blushed cheeks. Her longer strawberry blond hair has a few fly away’s but has never been combed out. She wears a lovely tagged yellow dotted swiss dress with faux rhinestone buttons. Val lace trims the bodice and three quarter sleeve cuffs. The dress snaps down the back. The dress is in excellent condition with no soil or damage. Under her dress she wears a yellow cotton lace trimmed Madame Alexander slip and perfect taffeta lace trimmed panties and her vintage seamed hose, all in excellent condition. She also wears a pair of custom matching high heels in pastel yellow with matching elastic and cream satin insoles. While in my collection I added a little rhinestone bracelet, a custom hat with beautiful little flowers & stamens all in hues of yellow and white. All of the flowers are strictly vintage and are clean and bright. She does not have pieced ears and the little pearls I applied are on with a rubber type glue that comes right off and does no damage, and leaves no marks on the doll what so ever. The only note worthy flaw is that her eyes need a little help opening and closing. She is a stunning doll in a beautiful outfit. I have also included the little custom Haute Couture hatbox. Up for sale is a vintage 1950s Madame Alexander 14 hard plastic Maggie Teenager doll with tagged dress. She has dark blonde hair, pale blue eyes and a Maggie face. She is wearing a tagged Madame Alexander red dotted Swiss dress over a white blouse, white cotton panties, a slip (may be a vintage replacement), red and white saddle shoes and socks. The doll is in great vintage condition with her original wig and face paint. The doll’s sleep eyes open and close, but there is some missing pain t on one eyelid. She has her original stringing and she will hold a pose, but her head tends to lean to one side as shown in the last photo. She has with no marks, cracks or odors. See photos for details. This is one of those times when pictures say a thousand words. Here is the Alexander Doll Company’s very rare yellow version of boxed extra item #22-60, the dotted Swiss tulle gown from 1959, also catalogued by FAO Schwarz as item #25-21-2. With an extremely critical eye, I must say this gown is in as near mint condition as mint can be – I reserve awarding that title only because it does not have its original box. This bright & crisply tagged gown has a cotton organdy underskirt; there is not a single spot of soiling or as much as a snag anywhere in either the organdy or the yards of overlaying tulle. Closure is at the back with four square snaps. Usually seen in the more familiar red version, both the yellow and the blue gowns are extremely rare and a favorite among collectors. Underneath Cissy is wearing vintage hosiery, and the gorgeous silk taffeta & tulle yellow slip (with matching original panties) is a perfect replica of the slip originally seen with this spectacular gown. Cissy is wearing a topaz set of rhinestone jewelry and an original Cissy “diamond” ring, and she carries yellow vintage gloves and an original vintage white & gold hatbox. Her vintage original gold sandals make the outfit complete! Cissy is exquisite, an early 1956 painted girl with gorgeous features, her blush & lip color have been lightly refreshed. She has a beautiful thick russet wig in the perfect style for the occasion, with curls at both the crown and nape of her neck. Her eyes are a literally spectacular ocean blue with full thick lashes. Welcome to my auctions! She is 20 tall, made of hard plastic with soft vinyl jointed arms. She is stunning in her lemon yellow dotted swiss dress with white puffed sleeves. Black velvet bows on her skirt and velvet laced through eyelet around her neck was added. Under the dress is a white nylon taffeta slip and undies. Nice tight Cissy stockings and black Cissy shoes. Her face is gorgeous with high cheek color, full lashes, full red mouth and matte finish. Her deep auburn hair is pulled back to her neck and is tied with a black velvet bow.
