This Madame Alexander doll entitled “walking the Heath” is in new never removed from the box condition. One shoe has fallen off as shown. Please write with any questions.

Vintage Madame Alexander Margaret face bride 14 doll. The doll is wearing a wedding gown with satin bodice, puffy tulle sleeves, two tiered tulle skirt over taffeta petticoat, panties, stockings, satin slippers, bouquet in right hand, woven embroidered cap with flower and leaf. The doll is in excellent condition, the dress needs some cleaning and has a small tear (see picture #11). Walking style body, head moves when walking. Vintage 1950s 14 Madame Alexander Walking Bride Doll, Margaret Face Tagged Hard Plastic, head turns as she walks, stringing is good, dark blonde hair, blue eyes open and close. Has original veil, flower bouquet, panties (elastic stretched), and shoes. Wig is in very nice condition, does not seem to have been combed or altered, I do note that the front center of her wig looks like it should have some hair in the center, it looks thin in that spot, maybe the veil hat was attached in that area, IDK. Dress is tagged Madame Alexander. Veil is sort of mantilla style with tulle attached to a stiff lace headband, missing most of the flowers. It has a ribbon that is tied in the back of her hair. Veil has 1 pinhead size hole on top (photo). The tulle skirt has two layers in good condition. The top tulle layer has some age related discoloration but that is normal for its age and has a tear in the back where the snaps are and tear at the very bottom of the hemline in that area. The taffeta skirt is in very good condition, 1 layer of tulle over taffeta bodice and tulle puff sleeves. A previous owner added a second taffeta slip that is fastened by a safety pin in the back, it has a tulle hemline, I don’t believe it is original to this bride doll or Madame Alexander but it is there. Circa 1950′s Madame Alexander 17 hard plastic Margaret face doll wearing a tagged dress. She is a walking doll and her head turns side to side when she is walked. Under her tagged dress she wears a pink taffeta slip, possibly original, and a pair of pink taffeta panties which I made. On her feet she has cotton socks and center snap leatherette shoes. Her wig is Saran and in a hair net. Eyes open and close as they should. She has a small repair to the hem of the dress on the side as shown. She has been well played with but still displays nicely. This is a lovely example of a Madame Alexander CISSY Doll in the Walking the Dog outfit from 1956. She is missing the blue necklace and the dog, but has the wonderful pink shoes which were exclusive to this outfit. The black velvet skirt is flawless with a perfect magenta pink velvet waistband with metal flowers. Many times the velvet is shredded. Stocking and bloomers are fine. As for this doll no problems, no cracks or splits and wonderful hair. Looking above her left eyebrow there is some black lines, don’t know what they are, but they are there. Netting kind of hides them though. I know I just tore this doll apart but she really is a fantastic looking doll. Her stringing is good and tight. No international orders please. The Story of a Doll Named Violet. Purple suade shoes and matching purple velvet hat with blue ribbons. Matching batiste panties and slip, all in excellent condition.
