21 Alexander Cissy Peony & Butterfly Wedding Gown Mint With Box and COA #284/2500 From 1997. This beautiful redhead Cissy wears an incredible pink and white check China silk gown with beading and pearl embellishment, billowing trim decorated with pink butterflies. She carries a bouquet of peonies, wears a gold and pearl necklace with matching earrings, her veil is topped with pink and yellow buterflies. She has her box and COA #284/2500. Madame Alexander 21 Composition doll I believe this is Wendy She is in a tagged gown but it does have some issues the middle snap is missing half and the other half is hanging on with a few threads. It has a couple small holes one in the front and one in the back and there are a few darker spots. She is wearing bloomers, socks and shoes. She does have some crazing on her face mostly on her left side and the seam behind both ears she is missing some lashes. She has a mohair wig she has all her fingers and she has a small composition missing from the top of her toe on her left side. She has missing paint on her torso and back. She can stand on her own but she is a little loose, her arms don’t stay up in place when you pose her. We are a smoke free home. Hi, Here is a vintage Cissy doll wearing a beautiful and original bridal ensemble that was made for Cissy by Madame Alexander. This Cissy has auburn hair in the original style I believe, in the updo with a lower chignon in back. Her eyes are green sleep eyes with black lashes. Over the undies she has her beautiful tagged bridal gown, which has one tear up the back of the outer tulle layer hand mended, her original crinoline half slip, her original veil which has a coronet of flowers and a layer of tulle, also her bouquet which is a replacement. Her dress closes in back with all of the original snaps except for one side of the top snap. The outfit is very beautiful, it is clean and has no odors. I have added an extra tulle petticoat to help her dress flare nicely, and a pair of long gloves, both are home made. Cissy’s “pearl” earrings and necklace, her “diamond” ring and bracelet are newer additions. Please ask me any questions you may have, I will be happy to answer. Thank you for looking… It has been brought to my attention by a kind ebayer that there is a crack line underneath Cissy’s left eye, one I hadn’t noticed, so I looked her over and see there is also one inside of her left lower knee, a fine line but it is there, so I added a photo of the knee and you can see the line underneath her eye in the first photo, a closeup picture of her face. This is a darling little doll with blonde triple stitch wig that is shiny and nice and tight to her head. She has original coloring, nice overall skin tone and no cracks or stains to her body. Her outfit is in very good condition. The pink dress is a nice pink color and has not yellowed like so many that I have had in the past. There are a few very small light brown marks on the back of the dress that do not distract but are there none the less. Besides that the dress if free of stains, holes or odors. Under the dress she wears the a slip and bloomers. The slip is a little stretched but still stays up and the bloomers are in good shape. Her gold shoes and socks are in nice condition and show little wear. Lastly is her beautiful hat with blue striped ribbon tie. The hat is a lovely pink color and the flowers are beautiful. The tie is in good condition but may be a little shorter than it was originally however it still ties in a beautiful big bow.
