Back dean needs a few more stitches where it has opened us a bit. I dont believe this has ever been laundered; cotton feels crisp. VINTAGE MADAME ALEXANDER CISSY WHITE HAT BOX W/CURLERS AND A COMB. This is a cardboard white hat box with removable lid trimmed in gold was made for the Madam Alexander Doll Company. On the lid is written in script “Madam Alexander”. This hat box comes with 4 vintage curlers on their original cardboard holder and a comb. The curlers are in great shape and the rubber is still intact. The hat box has the original gold strap and the MMA Medallion. The hat box lid has some discoloration as seen in the photos. The box and other contents are in very good condition. A great accessory to add to complete your Madam Alexander doll! All items come from a smoke-free, pet-free home. All items have been in stored in crates in a temperature controlled environment. All issues with received merchandise must be reported upon receipt of the item. 1956 Madame Alexander Cissy doll skirt and blouse. I want to be very clear that there is no fading or color variance to the skirt. It appears that way in some of the pictures due to the nature if the polished cotton fabric and the flash. It is a rich navy blue throughout. Waistline is adorned with flowers that are in excellent condition as is the skirt which is crisp and clean. The blouse is a sheer nylon trimmed in Val lace and is also in excellent vintage condition. 1961 Jacqueline Portrait Doll in White Satin Inaugural Ball Gown Coat by Ashton-Drake 2004. Jacqueline was only produced for one year upon request from the Kennedy family. She is a rather rare doll in the inaugural ball gown and very elegant and stunning. She is porcelain and about 20 tall. Blue straw hat with flocked flowers, feather and veil. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has strawberry blonde. Hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in the most of the original lovely curls. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, lovely coloring. She has pierced ears with rhinestone drop earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged dress, it is navy taffeta with white polka dot cotton bustle back and puff sleeves. She has a white lace slip and white panties with lace trim, adorable black strappy high heels. Her hat is fabulous, blue straw, wide shaped brim, covered with fine veil around the front. This Cissy dress from 1955, has not been washed, and the fabric has nice body and vibrant color. Its only issue is “flea bits” in the organdy of the left sleeve and some scattered “flea bits” on the skirt, mainly on the right front up toward the waist. Have no idea what caused this, but this was the condition when I bought it. As with most of my Cissy dresses, this one was stored and never used by me for display. Its snaps are secure (3), and the little black velvet bows on the shoulders are in very nice condition. The tag is in excellent condition. The dress has black belt loops and probably had a belt at one time. It now has a silky satin ribbon to tie in a bow at the waist. The skirt is ultra full. The sleeve elastic has relaxed slightly, but they still have nice puff. I have photo’d the flaws. In one pic, there is a mark showing near the hem on the skirt that is actually a little crease that needs to be pressed out. The “flea bites” on the organdy sleeve are really enhanced by the camera, but do not stand out on the doll. Even with these imperfections, it is still a lovely dress to have in your Cissy’s wardrobe. If you have questions or want additional photos, please le me know. My home is non-smoking, and there are no odor issues with the dress. The Cissy doll modeling is not included. Also, the blue hanger that snuck into one of the photos is not included in the listing. Thank you for looking and considering.
