This is a vintage marked hard plastic Madame Alexander Winnie/Binnie walker doll with a Cissy face. The doll measures approximately 18 in height. The walker mechanism works well. The original wig is in good condition. The face paint is good. The lashes are full and the eyes are clear. The HP body is in good condition. The clothing is all original. The red dress is tagged as shown. The coat may be faded, I can’t say for sure as I don’t know what the original color was. The rest of the clothing is in very good condition with no holes or stains. The doll has no unpleasant “sour” HP odors and the doll is from a nonsmoking home. All sales are final. This doll is in good condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. The hair is silky with some flyway’s. The dress is nice but does have a couple small tears and repairs to the outer layer. The dress has the Alexander tag attached to the back of the neck. The dolls head is loose. The arms move as should. The doll has original thigh high pantyhose as well as shoes and slip underpants. The hat is a hard straw with lace. The eyes of the doll open and close as should. Some of the eyelashes of the doll are missing. The eyes are slightly foggy. This lovely Madame Alexander needs some TLC. She has a small nose rub and her lips need touching up. There is a little rough part on the side oh her head just above the neck. Her tags were falling apart so someone had a very inventive way of saving them! She needs a general clean. As do her clothes. She is missing her socks and shoes. I have the button that is missing on her jacket. Im making her sound very bad but she makes a gorgeous appearance. She just needs a little help! Her green eyes make her! Up for sale is a vintage 1950s Madame Alexander 14 hard plastic Winsome Winnie Walker doll. She has a blonde Tosca wig with short curls, blue eyes and a Cissy face. She is wearing a double-breasted navy coat with pique collar and cuffs, a tagged red taffeta dress with matching panties and white belt, socks, red velvet snap-front shoes, the original leopard print hat, and a replacement muff. Her original wig and face paint are in great condition. The doll’s sleep eyes open and close, and her walking mechanism works well. Her head looks slightly to the left but can be adjusted by moving the legs. She has no cracks or odors, but there is a mark on her upper back where it looks like someone spilled glue on her. There are some faded patches on the navy jacket that appear purplish. See photos for details. Note: These are my mom’s dolls and she dressed them. From my research, this Winnie Walker doll is wearing her original dress, panties, shoes and socks. I believe that the hat, muff and coat (untagged) are Binnie’s. See my other listing. Featured here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Binnie Winnie Walker doll dressed as a bride on a saddle stand. She will come to you as dressed, with the saddle stand so that she will be ready to display on arrival. The gown and veil are an early 1950s original American Character bride gown with matching veil. The veil is in amazing condition for its age, with no holes, rips, tears or stains. It has a lace cap with pleated lace around the cap, and it is pinned to her hair with doll bobby pins. She carries a bouquet of resin call lilies handmade from the Orient. She will come to you with the graduated vintage pearl necklace and handmade lace finger gloves, as shown. I have added replacement light tan ankle strap leatherette shoes, with brown stitched leatherette soles. She has a sweet matching vintage cotton slip and cotton panties — both trimmed in soft vintage lace. She stands 24 inches tall and her “walker” mechanism works well, when you move her legs, her head turns from side to side. Her lovely light eye color is enhanced by the beautiful ivory bridal gown and veil. She has her original red lips and light blush on her cheeks. Her hair is the original strawberry blonde wig in its original set with curls and wavy bangs. One leg is slightly lighter in color than the other — see the photo of her legs, with her slip and panties. There are also a couple small holes in her vintage satin gown, but they are hidden under the vintage lace overskirt (see last photo). The lace overskirt features little bows and a scalloped hem, which rises and dips in lovely long points over the satin gown. The dress is edged in the same soft vintage lace as the veil. The bridal cap is lace and trimmed in pleated soft lace; and the cap is pinned to her wig with doll bobby pins. The veil hangs beautifully from the cap and struts out around her as she stands. I have had this doll kept in my SMOKE FREE and PET FREE home in a darkened doll room on display, and she has never been played with. I take great care to wrap and pack my dolls so that they do not move around in transit.
