This is the exquisite and rare, 2000, Madame Alexander, “Wedding Wishes, ” 17 Bride Doll. She is costumed in a lovely bridal gown of white brocade, lace and a full skirt of tulle. White lace, trimmed with crystals, forms the hemline of the skirt. A long veil flows from a headpiece that fits around her red hair which is tied up in a bun with sweet ringlets trailing down. Long, satin, white gloves, pearl and rhinestone necklace, earrings, sparkle stockings and white high heels complete the ensemble with a red, rose bouquet providing contrast. Even though the doll is from 2000, she is new, and we just unpacked her to take pictures. She has been stored in her box which is 22 long. 90 Years of Christmas is part of Madame Alexander’s fall of 2013 collection and celebrates the 90th anniversary of Madame Alexander. This precious Wendy is from a Limited Edition of only 400 dolls. She is all vinyl and has long brunette hair with bangs and brown open close eyes. She is wearing a beautiful plaid dress with a red tulle petticoat for extra fullness. She also wears nude hose and gold shoes with a matching bow in her hair. Wendy comes with a special holiday card!
