Up for sale is a Gorgeous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy Doll. She is 20 tall with a hard plastic body and vinyl sleeved arms. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows , hips and knees. She has Stunning crystal blue sleep eyes, with full lashes, rosy cheeks, red lips and a golden blonde wig in the Bob style that has been professionally styled and has a hair net. She has blushed hands and knees. She has a very small split at the top of her left leg in the hip socket. She is one of the early Cissy Dolls with the painted face. She is wearing a new chemise, vintage stockings and vintage heels. She is All Original and in Excellent Condition. She’s a Beauty!!! Featured here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Binnie Winnie Walker doll dressed as a bride on a saddle stand. She will come to you as dressed, with the saddle stand so that she will be ready to display on arrival. The gown and veil are an early 1950s original American Character bride gown with matching veil. The veil is in amazing condition for its age, with no holes, rips, tears or stains. It has a lace cap with pleated lace around the cap, and it is pinned to her hair with doll bobby pins. She carries a bouquet of resin call lilies handmade from the Orient. She will come to you with the graduated vintage pearl necklace and handmade lace finger gloves, as shown. I have added replacement light tan ankle strap leatherette shoes, with brown stitched leatherette soles. She has a sweet matching vintage cotton slip and cotton panties — both trimmed in soft vintage lace. She stands 24 inches tall and her “walker” mechanism works well, when you move her legs, her head turns from side to side. Her lovely light eye color is enhanced by the beautiful ivory bridal gown and veil. She has her original red lips and light blush on her cheeks. Her hair is the original strawberry blonde wig in its original set with curls and wavy bangs. One leg is slightly lighter in color than the other — see the photo of her legs, with her slip and panties. There are also a couple small holes in her vintage satin gown, but they are hidden under the vintage lace overskirt (see last photo). The lace overskirt features little bows and a scalloped hem, which rises and dips in lovely long points over the satin gown. The dress is edged in the same soft vintage lace as the veil. The bridal cap is lace and trimmed in pleated soft lace; and the cap is pinned to her wig with doll bobby pins. The veil hangs beautifully from the cap and struts out around her as she stands. I have had this doll kept in my SMOKE FREE and PET FREE home in a darkened doll room on display, and she has never been played with. I take great care to wrap and pack my dolls so that they do not move around in transit. No props in the photos are included in this listing, only the dressed doll with her accessories as shown and her vintage metal saddle doll stand. This is a beautiful 1950s Elise doll. She is just beautiful with the clearest blue eyes. Her hair is still in net with the bar in in it. Her shoes were all stretched out so I put a new pair of silver shoes on her. She wears her faux diamond ring. She is an excellent condition I believe she was never even played with. She comes with her original box it has a few rips and stains on it after all it is from 1950s. Unfortunately I need to let her go at this time. Madame Alexander Vintage Elise Doll. I wanted to everyone know her body is perfect. No splits or marks. The elastic in her slip is all stretched out but was sewn together to keep it up. 1950 Madame Alexander Margaret Face 18 CINDERELLA #8800 Doll w/ Box. Hair still in net. However, Her head and right arm are no longer attached as the band inside broke. So, she will need to be repaired as far as that goes. Has her beaded necklace and bracelet. Seems only thing missing is wrist tag. Stress lines on her glass slippers. Box is in poor shape but will be included. Original tissue under the new white tissue. Lid is in really poor shape. All 4 flaps are gone, has brown tape, a chunk missing at the corner and discolored like the bottom of the box. Label on box is faded but can make out the word “Cinderella” and style “8800″. Presented here today is the amazing early Madame Alexander Cissy doll in a new winter outfit. The doll is in beautiful condition. She has one little flaw where the paint had split a bit under her right ear. It is not split through the plastic, but only the paint. I added a little new paint inside the paint split. It is not seen unless the hair is pulled back. This doll was never played with and I don’t believe she was displayed, or if she was she was well protected from dust and sunlight. She has no odors, stains, or chews. She has no cracks or splits or repair of such. She has vibrant red hair still in its stiff, original set. The curls have never been combed out. She has lovely blue clear eyes and original lashes. She has had no spa treatment and no repaint of any kind. I added just a hint of pastel dry paint to her cheeks. Many of the early Cissys did not have blush at all originally. She has lovely “skin” with no scratches or nicks. She has just a minimal amount of inner thigh rub and neck rub. She has been restrung to her head and arms. She has been cleaned gently on the inside and outside. Her arms match very well and have no nicks on the inside of the socket. Her hips are tight as are her knees. She does not have earring holes. She is marked on the back of her head “Alexander”. Cissy is dressed for a day on the town. The weather is getting a bit cooler, so she is ready for what may come. Her coat and dress are made from boiled 100% wool and is a pretty purple color. Both dress and coat are lined with a light weight lavender taffeta. The coat has a wide faux fur collar and fur around the cuffs of the coat. The coat closes with 2 snaps. Her dress is a simple straight line dress. It closes in back with snaps. Also part of her ensemble is a matching fur pill box style hat and a purse to match her ensemble. She is wearing a pair of Cissy panties, vintage nylons, new pearl necklace and bracelet and newer black strap shoes. Oh, and the ring… Do not forget the ring! I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. No smoke and mirrors, what you see is exactly what she is. Pictures are part of the description.
