Rare Madame Alexander 20″ Glamour Girl “Picnic Day from 1953. She is a Margaret Doll with Auburn curled hair and green eyes. Her head moves from side to side when you move her legs. She has her original hat, dress, hoop skirt, and shoes. And also her pantaloons and stockings. Her dress is pink, green, and black with a gold sash and a Madame Alexander label. She has pink fingernail polish. Clothing and underclothes have no spots, stains or rips that I can see. Issues: The flowers on her hat are faded and the netting is frayed in spots. The hoop on underskirt is bent out of shape. When her eyes are closed you can see paint on eyelid has faded or chipped off. Shoes a little frayed. Please examine all photos.
Madame Alexander Margo ballerina doll, 14 size. She is wearing her original, tagged dress and panties. Gold shoes are appropriate replacements. Her wig is very nice and d she has her original spread barrette. Vintage flowers adorn her hair and dress. No damage to netting or dress itself. Face has nice color. She has nylon hose.
This doll has obviously been so well loved. She has been hanging out by my perfume bottles for too long, and needs a new home where someone else will cherish her. Unfortunately, she is missing part of her left foot as seen in photos. However, the heel remains, and sock and shoe would hide it. When I bought her she was missing her foot, sock and shoe. All of her clothes and hat are original. The string on her hat is broken. The clothing has staining and holes. Her wig is super fragile and the hairs will come out easily and break. So I have been careful not to mess with her hair. The rubber bands holding her body together are very loose. You can see this in the pics without her clothes. Please look closely at pictures. I have tried my best to show all of her flaws. Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look.

I have a very pretty 14 Madame Alexander Bride Doll in excellent preowned vintage condition. This doll was manufactured I believe in 1952. The tag says’Wendy” but the reference book I have says “Margaret face dolls were made from 1948 until 1956 and the face was used during this period on dozens of different dolls so I would say she is a Margaret face. She is wearing a lace trimmed satin gown with rhinestones on the bodice which is a little wrinkled from storage and there are three small snags on the back of the dress see Pic. She has her original veil which has a few tiny holes from age See pic. #8 and the original flowers on the head band. She has her original wrist tag and a bracelet that was added and a bouquet that I added. There is a small spot on the back hem of the slip and she has a slight plastic smell. She has all her eyelashes (her eyes stick a little) and she is also wearing her original hose but they do have holes in both legs and her shoes are a little soiled from age. Her hair is a blonde color and is in its original set but a little messy in the back which is covered by her veil. She comes with a very well home made extra wardrobe that consists of four outfits and they come with vintage clothes hangers. This is a wonderful Madame Alexander Bride doll to add to your collection but I just want to make sure I mention everything which I think are minor for her age, as I don’t want any surprises to the new owner. Please ask any questions and thanks for looking!

A beautiful, vintage Alice in Wonderland. 1947 Madame Alexander, 14 hard plastic, with lovely strawberry-blonde tresses surrounding her Margaret face. She is dressed in blue cotton twill, with a lace-trimmed organdy pinafore. She is all original, from her hair ribbon to her side-snap shoes. Her blue dress has light fading around the hem area, and is slightly soiled near the snaps. Below the snaps you can see a small rust stain. The reverse side of the dress shows a rust stain on the right side, which does not show on the outside. Attached petticoat/pantalettes are trimmed with eyelet. There is a small pair of pinholes on the right side of the petticoat. The right stocking has a small repaired area on the back side. Her stringing is still good and she is quite posable. Sleep eyes work, but are a bit lazy to open. Wig is slightly separated around the hairline, but this is not noticeable unless you pull back on it. I have done this in the photos to show the small amount of separation. Otherwise the wig is securely attached and in quite nice condition. Her throat area has a soiled/worn area, and her nose, a slight chip. Her face has wonderful color. This very nice Alice comes with a custom stand. Thanks for stopping by!
The doll is made of hard plastic which is in excellent condition with intact stringing, beautiful face coloring, lashes, auburn hair and blue eyes. Her auburn hair is in it’s original set with curls on the upper sides of her head and still very shiny. Her floor length net veil does show small holes throughout the netting. Her tagged satin ivory wedding gown (shows a few stains) has long lace trimmed sleeves with puffy shoulders and a drop waist lined with stiff interfacing followed by a very full gathered skirt and attached petticoat, under pants, nylons and satin shoes. The bodice has loads of rhinestones with a lace trimmed sweet heart neckline. She wears a necklace of tiny white beads which is original and her fashion academy award gold wrist tag. She comes with her original comb/curler box with a pink comb and 7 curlers. The dress is tagged Madame Alexander. As beautiful piece to add to your collection! .
