Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy doll jointed 20 with original dress bonus. From original owner, here is a 1950s vintage Madame Alexander 20 inch Cissy doll with original dress and several additional handmade outfits. She is in excellent condition except for scratches and discoloration on her right forearm. She is a little dusty and smudged from gentle play, display and storage, but should clean up nicely. There is no discoloration or fading of the face. Her sleep eyes work. Her knees and elbows are jointed and the string is tight. The back of the neck is marked Alexander. She comes dressed in the original yellow gown with bonnet, teddy chemise, pantaloons and stockings. The detail on the dress is extraordinary with extra attention on the back of the gown. All three layers of the skirt of the dress are in great condition. All clothing pieces are intact wit no holes or town seams. The teddy is all lace and in great condition and although it is discolored with age and the elastic in the straps of the body suit is loose, it is a rare piece! The bonnet has a few pin sized spots that may be rust. The stockings are also in great condition with no tears. This doll ships with three bonus professionally handmade outfits including two gowns and a very cute pajama set. The peach gown comes with matching shoes. The blue gown has significant discoloration and damage on the underskirt. This lovely doll would make a great addition to a collection. Curiosity Consignment: 9870 Main St. Closed Sunday & Monday.
