Very Classy and Elegant 20″ Vintage 1958 Madame Alexander “Cissy Doll. This Doll is All Original from Original Owner. She was Never played with and packed away very nicely for 60 years! All Hard Plastic with soft vinyl 2-piece arms. Jointed at the Neck, Shoulders, Elbows, Hips, and Knees, with High Heel Feet. She has NO Splits in Hard Plastic Anywhere, Ever!! All her Stringing is still Tight. She is from 1957 or 58. She is the Very Desirable Infused Cissy doll. Her Shiny Red Hair Wig is in the Original Set. She has Blue Eyes that open and close. Original Painted Eyebrows and lower lashes. Original High Color Cheeks and lips are Bright. Still has Blush on her hands. All Her Clothes are Very Clean and Crisp, Never Laundered. Her Lavender Striped Blouse has the Original White Flower attached. Her Lavender Skirt is Tagged “Cissy” by Madame Alexander New York. Her Dark Pink Lacey Slip has Tight Elastic and is Super Crunchy Crisp!! Nylons have no problems. Her Original Lavender Heels still have Tight Elastic. This is a strung 1953 first year Madame Alexander-kins Doll. She is in beautiful condition with original triple stitched blonde wig in original set, excellent high natural face coloring with brown brows, green brown eyes that open and close freely, black under lashes, bright rosy pink cheeks with no scuffs and bright red lips. Her body is in excellent tightly strung condition. Alex is wearing her tagged yellow cotton school dress, flower print black pinafore, undies, slip, super beige top stitched side snap fuzzy bottom shoes with white rayon socks. Dress is in excellent clean condition and a great kins hat completes her outfit. Fabulous doll and all set to display. She comes with her Alexander-kins box that is in excellent condition. The box is marked Wendy Kins 380 brunette. She came to me in this box so I believe it could be correct for this doll although I have seen the number 621 also referenced with this outfit. The doll is spectacular with beautiful high coloring that is all original. She has shiny brunette hair that is nice and tight to her head and in the original set topped with a pink bow. The organdy dress is beautiful and shows just the slightest bit of aging to the pink organdy. It has no holes, stains, tears or odors. Under the dress is a beautiful pink slip and bloomers. The slip is a pink organdy and is just fabulous with nice tight elastic. She wears black smooth bottom shoes and white sock that are both in perfect condition. This is an estate sale find. She is in great shape but has a few issues. There is a small mark above her right eyebrow (not sure it shows in the pics) as well as a couple of marks on her left leg. Her dress appears to have been washed/ironed but there are no rips or tears. She has beautiful silver fuzzy bottom shoes that lace up with silver cording. The same cording is used to close the dress in the back. She is a straight-leg walker that’s a little loose but over all not bad. Also included is her organdy panties and slip. Her crown is all original and looks like it has never been removed. Her cheek color is good. Item is from a smoke-free and pet-friendly environment. Don’t think you will find many dresses (Vintage Cissy) like this. I cannot see any issues with this dress. I want whoever is interested and buys it to be very Happy. I believe you will be. It is all original and no alterations have been done to my knowledge. They are very Honest. Dress is very Clean, no rips, tears, stains or odors. Closes in the back with 4 (four) snaps.
