“Courtyard” #38840 is from 2004 and was l imited to 1000 pieces, so is quite rare. She is dressed in a lovely dress in silvery pastels of aqua and pink with gold embroidery and corset style bodice of brocade. She has blue eyes and her rooted hair is ivory blonde and is styled in a profusion of curls, complemented with several finely crafted bread dough flowers and topped with a sheer pink ribbon bow. The underskirt and petticoats are a silvered pink, and her complimentary satin slippers match her dress and a re complete with gold buckles and cream bows. She is mint with original wrist tag and documentation, although I do not believe she was released with a certificate of authenticity, even though she is limited in production She is in the original box, and as she appears to have never been removed, I chose not to remove for photos. Her hair and head still have the protective netting. Original box is in excellent condition with some very minor shelf wear. I will be including a doll stand if you decide to display. BLUE SLEEP EYES (CLEAR WITH WHITE IRISES) THAT OPEN AND SHUT. BLACK ROOTED LASHES, WITH BROWN PAINTED LOWER LASHES, DARK FULL RED LIPS, PINK CHEEKS. SHE IS IN PERFECT CONDITION, HER BODY HAS NO SPLITS OR RUBS. SHE RETAINS HER HAND BLUSH AND KNEE BLUSH. SHE HAS BENT KNEES, AND ARMS. SHE IS WEARING A SUMMER GOWN OF SHEER WHITE ORGANDY TRIMMED WITH ROWS OF LACE AND ROSEBUDS OVER A WHITE STAIN SLIP, UNDER HER SLIP IS A NET HOOPED SLIP. SHE HAS SATIN PANTIES, AND IS WEARING HER ORIGINAL NYLONS AND RED HIGH HEELS. THE BODICE OF THE DRESS HAS SHORT SHEER PUFF SLEEVES TRIMMED WITH LACE. RED RIBBON ACCENTS THE BODICE AS WELL AS A RED SATIN RIBBON SASH AROUND HER WAIST THAT TIES INTO A BIG BOW IN THE BACK OF HER DRESS. SHE IS WEARING A LARGE PICTURE HAT THAT IS TRIMMED IN STRAW LACE AND RED PIPING AND TOPPED WITH SMALL WHITE FLOWERS. THE HAT ALSO HAS A GOLD CHIN STRAP. HER DRESS I MYSELF DID NOT WANT TO WASH IT AND WOULD NOT BECAUSE OF THE VINTAGE OF THE DOLL, THIS IS NOT DIRTY BUT THE AGE OF THE DOLL. THE DRESS IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. SHE ALSO HAS HER MADAME ALEXANDER WRIST HAND TAG, HER DRESS IS ALSO TAGGED MADAME ALEXANDER AND BOX(NOT SURE IF IT IS THE ORIGINAL BOX) BUT SHE CAME IN IT. I’M THE ONLY OWNER OF THIS DOLL, SHE WAS IN A CURIO FOR YEARS, SHE IS ALL ORIGINAL, SHE HAS NO MISSING PARTS, SHE HAS NO RUB MARKS OR MISSING LASHES.
