SUPER RARE 16 COMPOSITION 1938 MADAME ALEXANDER SNOW WHITE DOLL in All Original Condition, with Disney Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs Movie Hang Tag, in Original Box with Walt Disney Label and Original Tissue paper! 16 Doll Composition socket head with whitened complexion, brown sleep eyes, real lashes, panted lower lashes with unusual painted side lashes, single-stroke brows, closed mouth with beautiful Red pursed lips, black Human Hair in Perfect Original Curls, five-piece composition body. The doll is Beautifully preserved in Fine, unplayed with condition, Beautiful complexion, Original Gown with brown velvet bodice, yellow nylon skirt, hair ribbon, lavender and yellow cape, undergarments, Shoes with yellow bows, with Original colorful paper label Hang Tag, and Original Labelled Box – both with the 1938 Disney Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs Movie Poster! The only minor flaw is the box has a crack across the cover and has original handwriting across the top as you can see in pictures. Just Stunning – one of the most Beautiful examples of this 1938 Madame Alexander Snow White I have ever seen. This listing is for the dress, slip, and panties only. Other items shown (including doll) are not a part of the listing. The hat is available in a separate listing. The dress was custom made by an excellent seamstress for the Madame Alexander Cissy doll out of a lovely vintage yellow organdy fabric and was patterned after Cissy’s tagged purple and pink organdy dresses except for a slight departure at the neckline and collar. A purple satin ribbon is inset at the waistline and pinched down on one side to show off a pretty vintage flower corsage. Three tiny pearl buttons decorate the bodice. Fabric is doubled in the bodice, and the dress closes with three small square snaps in the back. The skirt is ultra full and has a deep hem, as you can see. The organdy fabric had never been used and has great body. The pictures show the organdy a little paler than it is, but it is still a light yellow. Accompanying the dress is a slip and panty set in light yellow cotton, which, I believe, is factory made, but not sure. It is sized perfectly for Cissy. The slip is made with a waistband that has one small square snap and is just right for Cissy’s waist. It has one tuck that encircles it, and lace trim at the bottom. Attached underneath is a netting slip, trimmed in some type of white ribbon. The panties are lace trimmed and have an elasticized waist with good elastic. These underthings appear to be vintage items. The netting used (with the smaller holes) would date back to the 50s or 60s. Both of these items are in very good condition, with no flaws that I see. The dress is in perfect condition, just as it was made. It has not been displayed, but has occupied a spot in Cissy’s closet for quite a while. It needs to be showcased.
