Madame Alexander Dolls

This is the “Child’s Dream Comes True” series. Her dress, crinoline, panties, stockings and floral crown are original. I have added flowers from a 1956 Alexander hat to fill in her floral crown. I made her silver bracelet and her fan from a vintage jewelry finding. She wears vintage shoes that have had the elastic replaced. She wears a vintage “diamond” ring and I have replaced her missing “diamond” earrings. She will come with a replica of the 1955 Alexander tag. The dress is in very good shape, just some small rubs to the fabric. Elastic is stretched on her panties. Elastic has been replaced on her crinoline. Floral crown is faded but lovely. No stains on her clothing at all. Three rhinestones on her dress have darkened with age. The doll herself is in very good condition. Lashes are full and perfect. Hair still in hairnet with metal bar. Tiny scratches on her left upper thigh below the joint as shown. No splits or cracks at all. Ask any questions you may have. This is a wonderful example of this doll! This beautiful, blue-eyed beauty is from the late 1950s. It was lovingly stored at my grandmothers house for decades. She comes complete with nylon stockings, jewelry, gloves, tiara, and shoes. I do not have documentation, or a box, but believe she commemorates Queen Elizabeths 1953 coronation to the throne. There is some yellowing on her dress, which snaps down the back, and is a beautiful and heavy brocade – it is not tagged, but there are no rips or tears. She really is beautiful. Shes in her original tagged bride gown with no stains or smells. She comes from a non smoking household. She holds a pose and stands on her own. Her arms, legs and head are strung tight. She has no cracks or splits. All toes and fingers are intact. Her lips are nicely colored, cheeks are rosy. She has beautiful thick full eyelashes. Her eyes close and open as they should. Her hair is perfect with no fly aways, and her body is clean. Her dress is elegant and original. Her veil is original and has no rips or snags. I have always loved these sheer shadow prints made of pastel organdy fabric. This one has Val lace and rhinestones. This sun dress came 2 ways– with and without a satin ribbon sash sewn at the waist. This is the version with the ribbon. This dress is crispy! It looks fresh and bright. When it came to me the lace had aged yellow. Whitened the lace and then gave the entire dress a quick rinse so as not to remove the sizing. Sun Dresses are hard to find and this is one is a FAVORITE among collectors. The item “RARE! Cissy Walks Her Dog.. Out for a stroll in the crisp afternoon air, Cissy and Dusty, her cute Cocker Spaniel, are really enjoying each other’s company. Tea Rose Cissy is in beautiful condition and very clean. She has all her jewelry and the dress, slip, coat, etc. She has never been displayed as far as I know. She has a small flaw in that her lip paint is missing on part of her upper lip. Also, she is very loosely jointed, although she will hold a pose. Here, for your consideration is one absolutely gorgeous Madame Alexander 1957 Cissy doll, in her original outfit. This Cissy is beautiful! Her face paint is vivid, her eyes are blue and have all their lashes. Her rosy cheeks are lovely. I see no cracks anywhere. Her body coloring is even. I picked the ones I thought would give you a good view of her. Cissy is dressed in her original Bridal outfit named “Satin Train” from 1957. This wedding gown shows off a full gathered tulle skirt. The satin bodice is decorated with a thick trim accented with silver threads. A pleated Satin train cascades in the back of the dress. She also wears a chapel length veil with a coronet of flowers. She wears an under slip, which the elastic has stretched out and is pinned to hold it up. Her high heel shoes are in a plastic bag and will come with her. They look to be in good condition. Cissy is wearing her original pearl earrings, but on one side, the little teardrop is missing. She is wearing a pearl necklace and I believe it to be original to her. Her beautiful little head seems to be a little loose, but is attached. I just noticed, in the first nude picture, her hair seems to be parted a little and you can see that in the pictures.
