1950s Vintage 19 Madame Alexander Cissy bride doll. She has hard plastic head with jointed vinyl body. Jointed at the neck, hips, knees, shoulders and elbows. Original tagged wedding gown, original veil and nylon stockings. There is a tear in the back of the veil fabric and the top of the veil is missing a few decorative flowers. Also some tears in the fabric of the gown in back. Her hair is very nice in its original set. Nice face with good eyelashes. One eye appears to be looking to the side. I have not removed the dress to clean it. She is in original gently played with condition. From a non smoking home. Please try to submit questions early. From a recent estate sale here in the Dallas area, here’s a very cute Sweet Violet doll by Madame Alexander. The doll has blonde hair and sleep eyes. She is wearing five pieces of clothing which include 1 a lavender coat, 2 the hard to find white dress with purple details, 3 under pants, 4 hat with flowers and 5 a pair of shoes. She is missing her socks and does not have her muff. The lavender coat is tagged in the back as shown in the pictures. The bonnet is purple velvet and has its original flowers and pink ribbon tie. The dress is in excellent shape with no stains or rips. The dress is not tagged. One of the purple shoes is missing the front flower. The face is similar to Cissy and Binnie Walker. The doll measures about 18 inches tall. The doll is in excellent lightly played with condition. There are no splits or marks on the face or body. She works as expected. Her coat is tagged. Listing another Cissy from my personal collection. This is a 21 beautiful Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She is from the 1950s I think 1956. She has on her rare viole clover tagged dress. The dress has pink clover flowers with green rick rack trim, rhinestones and lace on the bodice and a green satin ribbon sash. This dress is very hard to find and usually fragile but this one in crisp and minty. She has on her pink lace slip, (I think the undies are replaced) nylons and white with red heel strap shoes. She has a beautiful pink straw picture hat with flowers and netting. Long ago I felt she needed some jewelry to wear with her outfit so I made her the necklace and bracelet, the necklace is fine but the bracelet has melted onto her wrist(see picture) I think it will pull off but I thought I would let the new owner decide. I guess that wasnt a smart decision on my end. She does have her ring. She has the most gorgeous face with beautiful blue eyes, all her top and bottom painted lashes, brows, pink lips and rosy cheek color. She has shiny blonde hair in original set. I have had her for a very long time and have never undressed her but every thing looks good, no cracks splits, stains, tears or repairs. A truly wonderful Cissy doll. She is over 60 years old so she cant be expected to be brand new but is a really nice doll. Beautiful Elise has a lovely painted head. The painted head dolls are the earliest dolls and very sought after. She has a brunette wig that has a few fly away hairs still in the original hair bar but and its original hairstyle. She has one split on outside of her left leg and one leg split on her inner right leg. She also has a little dot on her nose that is minor. But its really not that noticeable. She has a lovely blue green eyes and all her lashes! She is wearing a lovely rhinestone necklace and her panties have the elastic that is stretched. She is a lovely example of the early painted dollsthere Are few in this condition! The doll comes from my personal collection and shes been with me many many years.
