Madame Alexander Dolls

She is a lovely doll but she has had some repairs. Please read all details carefully to make sure this is the doll for you. Cissy is clean and has no odors, splits, cracks, stains or chews. She has had a repair done to the outside of her left knee. No other split or crack repairs. Her legs are tight at the hips and at the knees. There has been a repaint to her chest, as she was quite faded there. She has nice arms that match nicely. There are no splits or rips in the rubber. She has her original wig that was removed, cleaned, reset and reglued. It is the style with the tighter little curls on the bottom of the wig. It is full and has no cuts or bald areas. She has her original eyes that are very pretty, full lashes and a brilliant blue. She has had her lips repainted and resealed. She also has a bit of paint added on the top of her nose. It shows up in the close up, but is really quite invisible without the flash and zoom. Blush has been added. She has a slight bit of inner thigh rub and a small bit at the neck. She has been restrung at arms and head. Cissy comes with a new silk brocade chemise and new nylons. Vintage generic plastic shoes that are very tight to close, but it can be done and there is a break on the back on one she that someone repaired with a couple of stitches. Listing features a vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy doll and tagged coat, dress, slip, earrings and panties. Doll is in good used condition with the following items to mention. Some missing left lashes. Head tilt – needs restringing. Possibly a bit of sun fade to face. Coat and dress are excellent as far as intact and needing no repair but do have some very light spotting which I tried to capture. Elastic in slip and panties stretched. Doll wig is in excellent original set condition but probably needs cleaning. Doll body is in excellent condition with no noted other issues. Margaret was a child actress popular in the 1940s. It was said that she could cry on demand. She’s got a sweet little face… A more matted paint than some. I place this doll from 1946-47. She displays well, but has some imperfections. Tiny missing loss of lip paint, easily touched up; faint white mark or loss of blush on cheeks; chipped right index finger; some crazing and color mottling to arms and legs; faint soil marks here and there to the dress (but it’s crisp and un-laundered); holes throughout the lace on bottom edge of dress (they are uniformly positioned, but I don’t think they’re supposed to be there). I can fix some of these issues if you want. Just let me know. I matched the shoe laces since I took the photo here. Ask me any questions you’d like. I have displayed her away from direct sunlight and she comes from a smoke-free home. This poor girl has had so many non payers… She’s starting to get an insecurity complex! Here is an absolutely gorgeous Cissy doll in very good to excellent condition. She has beautiful matte complexion with blushed cheeks, red lips and full eyelashes. Her dark hair is in its original style. Her clear eyes open and shut. No tears, splits or cracks on her body. There are some minor rubs on the right side of her neck. She comes wearing a flowing chiffon floral dress lined in satin. Her lovely hat is a Richard Original. She also comes with new crinoline, hose, vintage high heel shoes, original panties, lovely vintage tear drop earrings and a beautiful vintage ring with pink stone. Cissy even comes with her own pretty little Lucite purse containing a tiny framed photo of her and some lilac flowers. She is strung well and holds poses nicely. Please note that some earrings do not work in her ears. The beautiful earrings she is wearing fit her ears perfectly. This is a 21 Gorgeous Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She is from the 1950s. She has on her original tagged tea length satin dress that is rarely seen. The pink short sleeve dress has tulle that wraps around her arms that is attached and closes in the front with flowers. She has pink panties and a cancan style slip. She has her nylons and original gold shoes, beautiful and not stretched out. She has a beautiful face with clear eyes, all her top and bottom painted lashes, good brows, dark pink lips and rosy cheek color. She has shiney brunette hair in original set tied with a ribbon in the back and roses on top. She wears a ring and pearl necklace. I have had her in my collection for a very long time and have never undressed her but every thing looks good. A truly wonderful Cissy doll. The dress is nice but is not perfect and has some small marks here and there, barely noticeable until looking. Stringing seems good, her eyes close when you lay her down. She is over 60 years old but a really nice doll. I have not collected dolls for a while so might have missed something important to you, so please ask questions. Madame Alexander 21 Composition doll I believe this is Wendy She is in a tagged gown but it does have some issues the middle snap is missing half and the other half is hanging on with a few threads. It has a couple small holes one in the front and one in the back and there are a few darker spots. She is wearing bloomers, socks and shoes. She does have some crazing on her face mostly on her left side and the seam behind both ears she is missing some lashes. She has a mohair wig she has all her fingers and she has a small composition missing from the top of her toe on her left side. She has missing paint on her torso and back. Here is a very pretty vintage 20 Madame. She has a mohair. All hair is present. She may be missing. An eyelash or two on her left eye but its hard. To tell for sure. Her eyes will open and close. Her composition is pretty. Clean but it is very faded. Back are closer to her original color. Her stringing is very good. She has light crazing all over. There are no cracks around her head.
