Up for your consideration is a vintage 14 Madame Alexander Little Women Marme Doll. She is a strung doll. She holds her pose well. She has sleep eyes that open and close freely. She has a wig cap that is in good shape, but does have dust that needs to be cleaned as shown in photos. She is a hard plastic doll. Clothes are original to her except maybe the black lace shawl. I believe that is just something thats been added to her. Her dress is tagged. It has some fade spots on her dress, also as shown in photos. Her shoes are missing. She does not come with the stand. Coloring is high and clear. Please look over the photos and use the “zoom in” option to check over the pictures, as they are part of my description. This is a 2004 Limited Edition, Madame Alexander “Courtyard” doll. She was limited to 1000 pieces worldwide and is very rare and highly collectible. She is dressed in a lovely palette of pale, icy pastels: silvery aqua blue and silvered pink, with gold embroidery and an elaborately brocaded “corset” bodice. She has blue eyes and ivory blonde hair which is styled in a profusion of tight curls and topped with a sheer, pink ribbon bow. The underskirt and petticoats are a silvered pink, and her satin slippers have a gold buckle and cream bows. This doll is absolutely gorgeous. Comes in original box, with a hand tag. I received this doll as a gift and I do not collect Cissys. She is a very pretty brunette. Her eyes have turned green, but they are a very pretty shade of green, not the drab olive color. She is tightly strung and will hold a pose. I found one repaired split when I pulled out her left leg. Her blush is a bit uneven.
