Vintage 1937-42 Madame Alexander Scarlett O’Hara 11 Composition Doll. She is in very nice vintage condition. The only flaw I found on her is her right eye is missing it’s eyelashes and she has a rub on the tip of her nose. Her composition appears to be very nice with no cracks or crazing. She has very nice face color and hair in original set. Her outfit is in all original condition and appears to be excellent with no damage or stains. I noticed on her white cotton slip some of the wire has become unraveled in an area, just a few inches maybe (shown in the close up of her shoes). I noticed her fingernails are painted. I’m not sure if that is how she came or if someone painted them. She is wearing green leatherette side snap shoes. One of the heels is missing on one (shown). Overall, she is just lovely doll. Vintage Madame Alexander dolls; Cinderella & Prince Charmimg. Both have wrist tags. This famous couple has been together since 1950 and they are charming! This listing is for both Prince Charming and his bride Cinderella, they are hard plastic, 14 tall. The faces are lovely with green eyes that open and close freely, thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, red mouth, nice blush. The strings are good and they hold a pose nicely. He has caracul red hair, minor wear around the edges but great condition. Her hair is neatly kept in the original back net, stitched part, original style. The clothing is original. Prince wears white tights with satin ankle slippers, smashing satin brocade coat and cape. He has his gold garter and brocade cap with feather plume. The clothing is excellent with only minor age. Cinderella wears her original satin gown which has turned cream, the attached petticoat and panties are still blue, the dress is sprinkled with silver stars. The gown shows age with fading but otherwise excellent condition, no tears, there are a couple of small holes in the rayon slip. She wears her original fishnet stockings without shoes and still has the original single glass slipper. Fabulous pair, very rare! 7 and a half inch tall Dionne Quintuplets from 1934. All with original clothing, Dr. Dafoe with socks and shoes. Quintuplets have their original gold name pins. The Dionnes were identical quintuplet sisters born in Canada in 1934. All original appendages included. Three of the quintuplets will require internal re-stringing. The Dionne quintuplets (French pronunciation: [dzjn]; born May 28, 1934) are the first quintuplets known to have survived their infancy. The identical sisters were born in Canada, just outside Callander, Ontario, near the village of Corbeil. All five survived to adulthood. The Dionne girls were born two months premature. After four months with their family, they were made Wards of the King for the next nine years under the Dionne Quintuplets’ Guardianship Act, 1935. The government and those around them began to profit by making them a significant tourist attraction in Ontario. The identical quintuplet sisters were, in order of birth. Yvonne Édouilda Marie Dionne. Annette Lillianne Marie Allard. Cécile Marie Émilda Langlois. Émilie Marie Jeanne Dionne. Marie Reine Alma Houle. Doctor Allan Roy Dafoe OBE was a Canadian obstetrician, best known for delivering and caring for the Dionne quintuplets, the first quintuplets known to survive early infancy. Dafoe was born in Madoc, Ontario, the son of a physician. He trained in the same profession and, in early 1909, he went into practice in Callander, Ontario, where he resided for the rest of his life. On 28 May 1934 he assisted in the multiple births of the Dionne family, that saw the survival of the mother and all the children. This got international press notice. He continued to help care for the children for years, and became something of a celebrity in the onslaught of media attention. The government of Ontario gave Dr. Dafoe full guardianship of the quintuplets. Absolutely beautiful 1962 Madame Alexander baby McGuffey baby doll. Wears a light pink and white dress and light pink bloomers. Dress, bloomers and bonnet are in excellent condition. She is in excellent like new condition. Eyes open and close. 19 from head to feet. Only issue is left eye is a little hazy. Box is in good condition. However the box does not match. Wendy is a bend knee walker with a triple stitch red wig that has been on display. Her make up and face coloring are beautiful. The dress is organdy embroidered with rosebuds. There is a pink velvet sash attached at the waist that could be pressed. The dress is trimmed with lace on the sleeves, neck and skirt. It is in great shape, however yellowed with age. The straw hat has a black velvet ribbon hat band, also in great shape. The matching Bouquet and flowers in the hat are different then pictures I have seen. The flowers are smaller. The shoes look to be in just OK shape. One bow only has a loop in one side and there bottoms are not as fuzzy as the shoes I have on a bride in another listing. She does not stand on her own. This stunning 1958 Bride was called Mary Rose and has the older Elise face. She has jointed elbows, knees and ankles. She is all-original, including her beautiful floral wreath gown, flowers, veil and circular headdress, pearl earrings, necklace, bracelet and stockings, garter and shoes. I added her solitaire engagement ring. The doll has no issues and is flawless. She is blonde and blue-eyed. Her wig is in perfect original shape. Her stockings and garter are like new. Her high heeled pumps have lost some elasticity, but have been tightened at the back so she is able to stand in them. Please examine photographs carefully and zoom-in for clarity. Madame Alexander SHARI LEWIS & lambchop too! (original ad in last pic) Cissy style jointed body & high heels. She is marked on the back of her head. Shari is in very nice shape. She has No odors. Sleep eyes are lovely factory GREEN with full lashes. Her original reddish wig is shiny and in the original set. She has her pearl earrings. Her outfit is tagged factory original and while it is NOT mint, it is very nice. Her skirt had faded to that weird brown so I dyed it back to green which is the color it should be. The elastic in the yellow slip has relaxed some. The yellow top has no issues. She has a Vintage dark green hat with vintage velvet millinery to match. Her hose are fine. Panties, ring & bracelet are replaced, the elastic in her shoes has relaxed a bit. Original belt and pocket watch pin still present! The doll is beautiful. She has pretty coloring and good features. There is a wee bit of lip color loss as pictured. Overall she is a lovely example and Very hard to find. Lambchop is included (newer but super cute). Please look at all the pictures.
