Madame Alexander Dolls

Offering this beautiful vintage Madame Alexander baby doll, Baby Kathy, circa 1961. She is a soft vinyl drink/wet doll with a cryer, blue sleep eyes, molded hair and jointed arms, legs and head. What a sweet doll! She is marked Alexander on the back of her neck. Measures 17-1/2 inches long. Condition notes – please see all photos and ask questions if something is not clear. The top of her head has a bit of damage, hair color worn and small damage to the vinyl. There’s a bit of wear to her hair color all the way around. Bit of color loss on her lower lip, mouth and right cheek. Eyes open and shut easily but left eye has a little whiteness under the eyelash; you have to look for it. Cryer works when squeezed. Has original paint on it, marked Frey Mfg. Arms and legs are a little sticky when moving them, overall she’s a little tacky to the touch. She’s very clean, though. No bad odors, faint whiff of vinyl the smell of my and so many of our childhoods! Found wearing this dotted swiss organza pink dress with white lace trim, blue embroidery, peter pan collar and tiny pink buttons. Three metal snaps fasten in the back. Under the dress, she wears a cream-colored satin slip and panties. Two metal snaps fasten in the back. Slip is trimmed in same white lace and has the same blue embroidery. Panties’ waist elastic has lost it’s elasticity and they have a pink stain (1/4 spot). Otherwise, clothes are clean, free of tears, holes or other problems. She was found wearing a pink/cream cotton kerchief which I will send along just to protect her head; I didn’t photograph her in it. No shoes or socks. This is a Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Jo Doll Little Women Maggie Face 14 Inch. This beautiful 14 inch strung hard plastic Madame Alexander Little Women Jo doll is in good clean condition. From a pet free smoke free home. She has the Maggie face with perfect facial paint. Her sleep eyes open and close and her hair is in the original set. The tagged Madame Alexander red cotton dress is in good condition. She does have some slight white areas on her bodice as seen in my photos. One tiny white dot on skirt also. This looks to be from age or moisture. She’s almost 70 years old. Her head arms legs and everything is in very secure good condition. Also along with her white cotton petticoat….. There is also another beautiful petticoat skirt underneath the first one. Please see all my pictures. Jo is also wearing her original white cotton panties. I don’t think these clothes have ever been off of her. I do not see any socks or shoes. She is guaranteed vintage but does not have her original box, But will come inside a box inside another box. All the 8 dolls and hard to find wood scooter are in fabulous condition! All have their original tagged outfits, shoes and socks with original metal pins. All the faces, heads and legs are free of crazing and there are no rubs on the painted features, no repaint or repair. I have not taken off the clothes as it looks that they have never been removed so I’m guessing the bodies are just as nice as the faces and legs. They all seem strung just right. Wooden scooter still retains all their decal names, no breaks. The 2 back red wooden wheels have some paint loss, nothing major. Madame Alexander 13 1965 Alice in Wonderland Doll, Trunk and Extra Outfits. Alice’s shoe needs a little repair, please refer to photo’s. The trunk is in excellent condition, the ribbon used to tie her in is unhooked on the right side, otherwise in great shape. This is a 18 Madame Alexander Scarlett O’Hara doll wearing one of the rarer and hardest to find dresses. There is age fading on her original tagged dress. The ruffles around her neckline have deteriorated but could easily be replaced (see pic). Her hooped underskirt is attached to the dress and she wears white pantaloons, white rayon socks and green side-snap shoes. Her straw bonnet is an appropriate replacement. She is incredibly beautiful with a lovely presence. Her composition body is clean with no crazing. Her limbs are tight. Her expressive amber eyes are clear, sleep nicely and still retain their original lashes. Her original black wig is in the original set with small pins and curls. Her sweet face has delicate face paint with smoky eyeshadow, red lips, painted underlashes, and multistroke brown eyebrows. Please view all photos, as they are an important part of the description. This listing is for a beautiful 21 Composition Madame Alexander Margaret O Brien Doll She retains an amazing finish on her compo face- with the original paint finish and clear hazel eyes. Her dress, apron, and under garments are totally original. She is missing her straw hat, shoes and socks. She comes with vintage white plastic shoes for now.
