Vintage Madame Alexander 14in Sonja Henie Doll Olympic Skater Composition Original Dress. Original antique Sonja Henie Olympic ice skater doll, made by Madame Alexander, circa 1935. Stands approximately 14 tall with a composition head & jointed body. Will need to be restrung as the stringing loose. Her face and body overall has crazing from age. Full lashes, eyes are a little blurry. Dress is marked and doll has her original hand tag. I cannot tell if her head is marked due to the way the wig is glued low by the edge of her head. Outfit appears clean but feathers seem to easily fall off easily as they are very soft from age. Overall the doll is very delicate and needs to be handled with care. Marisa is a beautiful doll sculpted by Hildegard Gunzel as part of the 1991 collection made for Madame Alexander. She has been hand signed on her shoulder plate in the back as shown in the photograph. Marisa is about 25 inches tall with a vinyl head and shoulder plate and ¾ length vinyl limbs on a cloth body that has an armature in the arms. She has blue eyes and a blonde wig. Marisa came to us from an adult collector who had her on display. She is in good condition but her hair collected dust and her navy blue jacket faded in the sunlight while on display. We felt she looked a little dated as well, so we changed her wig and redressed her. She is now wearing a new custom hand made ballerina dress with silk ribbon embroidered roses with pearl accents. She is also wearing new My Twinn mary janes with added pink roses and a lovely headband. We are including her original outfit and wig with her as well. We also have her navy coat and cap, and will send them as well if you like, but they are not in very good condition and do have major fading. Also included with Marisa is her COA and a Hildgard Gunzel catalog that includes her. We do offer lay-a-way or delayed payments under certain circumstances. Vintage 1965 blonde Puddin by Madame Alexander baby doll. Doll wears pink dress and pink bloomers. Elastic in arms and bloomers is worn out. 20 tall from head to toe. Doll is clean and in great condition. Crier no longer works. Sleep eyes open and close properly. Rare Madame Alexander “In the Garden Under the Stars” Cissy is a limited edition of 40 and was the centerpiece at the MADCC in 2008. This 2 doll set includes the 21 inch Cissy and the 8 inch Alexkin fairy and is #28 of 40. The dolls are exquisitely dressed. Cissy’s hair has a loosely plaited braid that falls to a length below her waist and is twisted with flowers and ribbons of pale blue. Her green chiffon gown, lined in matching satin is accented with T-strap heels of lilac, in addition to panyhose. I chose not to remove the Cissy from the box for the photographs. The 8 Wendy fairy is a shadow of the 21′ Cissy in the Garden of the Fairies and is beautifully garbed in flowers and lilac wings. Her dupioni silk bodysuit laces up the front with pale green laces and is covered with a sheer lilac petal skirt. Soft green tights and lace up slippers complete her outfit, overlaid with wings of shimmery sheer lilac. Both dolls have wrist tags and there is a Certificate of Authenticity in the box. Up for sale is this EXTREMELY RARE 18 vintage Madame Alexander Cissy-faced Agatha doll from the Me and My Shadow series from 1954, in box. Of the more rare Me and My Shadow portrait series, Agatha is one of, if not the very most rare and hard to find dolls in that series. She has a very ornate outfit. She wears a pink, tagged, taffeta gown with purple and yellow eye loop trim, blue velvet forget-me-nots, gathers, flares, etc. It is fitted from the bodice to the hips, with gathers accentuating her hips, and very full gathered skirt. It has a stuffed bust (like the other me and my shadow and glamour girls should), and there is a slight stretching on her right breast seam, though the long ribbon tends to fall over it naturally. In the back there is a bow-like bustle, with wings that extend beneath, and a LONG decorated train. The sleeves have ruffled tulle on the underside. The tulle is a little brittle with ha section partially broken off on her left arm. Her bonnet is in lovely condition, with no breaks in the straw. It has a lovely pink moire ribbon weaving across the top with bows and tying in a bow under her chin. It has lovely blue and cream velvet forget-me-nots, and cream velvet forget-me-nots , and a couple perfect cabbage roses as well. She has a pink taffeta “parasol”, and pink Madame Alexander hat box. She has a beautiful dark brown hair in smooth hairdo with cured under ends pinned sleekly in the back. She does have some vintage glue residue at the top of her forehead just past the edge of the wig. It can best be seen in the photo of her laying down. I’ve heard it can be removed, but I will let the new owner decide if they want to so something about it. She has blue eyes, bright pink lips, and two strike brows. She has the lovely classic Cissy face so many love. Her box is in OK condition. It has a slight bend on one side and has a little seam separation where the bottom meets the wall of the box. Overall she is a lovely sample of an EXTREMELY RARE and hard to find doll. She doesn’t have odors and comes from a smoke free home. I try to list everything I can think of, but may have missed something important to you. Born in 1960, this regal Elise bride dressed in an elegant ecru satin gown with intricate beading on bodice is in excellent condition for being 58 years of age. Her veil is adorned with its original flowers which have not faded in the least. Her bouquet is original and its flowers match the floral wreath of the veil. She wears her original pearl earrings, necklace, engagement ring, nylon stockings, garter, bridal panties and stiff white petticoat. The elastic on the petticoat is perfect and has not stretched. In addition, she still wears her original wrist hang-tag! The gown is in excellent condition. Please look at all photos from every angle. Neither the gown or the veil have any stains, holes, or tears. Her face has beautiful high color, and her glossy strawberry blonde hair is in its original set. She has clear blue sleep eyes and lush, full lashes. Elise has a vinyl head and a hard vinyl body, with legs that bend at the knee and ankle, and soft vinyl- covered arms that bend at the elbow. Here is Madame Alexander’s “McGuffey Ana” in the desirable 13 cabinet size. She is all original. The composition is very good with no cracks, crazing or lifting. Her hair is blonde, styled in braids, she has the typical curly bangs. Her beautiful, clear hazel eyes have their original mohair lashes. Her face paint is excellent with finely painted lower lashes and brows, delicate lips and smokey shadow. She has two upper teeth showing. Wearing her original organdy stripe dress under her white pinafore with lace and light blue ribbon trim. Her white slip has panties attached. She has her white rayon socks and her original navy blue side snap boots. Her original straw hat is trimmed with flowers. There is one small damage to the hat. Otherwise her clothes are clean with no tears, stains or age spots. Please view all pictures as they are an important part of the description.
