From the Golden Age of Madame Alexander dolls, This is one of the eariliest, 1957, Madame Alexander Cissy dolls. She is dressed in her original tagged navy blue dress with a ruffled white cape, both are crisp. The straw hat needs blocking. The original watch is still attached at the waist. A pearl choker has been added. She is in very good condition Her facepaint is still bright if with tiny age spots (see closeup) her hair, a little flyaway No Alexander box. Even though I do not smoke I cannot guarantee that the doll has never been exposed to it. Sweetheart Madame Alexander vintage Cissy with blonde hair and full straight bangs, Cissy is wearing her perfect MA crispy tagged red and white day dress (never laundered), dress has 3 little round white buttons, sleeves trimmed in white, skirt area is nice and full on this day dress, 4 MA square snaps up the back of dress for closure all in perfect working condition (no rust). This little cutie is wearing her original MA drop faux pearl earrings, cute wrap around faux pearl bracelet, awesome black designer made bonnet with black satin ribbon tied at neckline and a feather on the side in the shape of a bird in flight. I absolutely love this hat! MA taffeta off white panties with lace trim (elastic has some stretching but not bad). MA seamed stockings are in vgvc, seamstress made and very full, adorable white cotton slip that hasn’t skimped on all of white lace to hold out Cissy’s day dress very nicely, black strappy heels, Cissy has the more porcelain color face (lovely), eyes are the lighter aqua blue, clear and bright, eyes open and close great, lashes are full and beautiful, face paint looks awesome, hair is a clean and shiny blonde, having no bald spots, body poses very nicely, no bad odors.
