All composition doll with open mouth and teeth. Jane is simply charming! She is just so sweet! She is wearing her original organdy dress with cream lappets, smocked bodice, muslin slip and panties, socks, side-snap white shoes. She is showing a bit of age as her compo body does have very fine crazing (it is more noticeable in the close up pictures then in person). Hat is a replacement but looks adorable on her! Her original tagged dress needs some help: needs a good cleaning, it has age spots. It also has a hole/tear in the back, slip and onsie look good. Shoes and socks are also good for age. Pin has lost its luster and faded in spots. There is a chip under hear head at the neck opening (see pic). Her face looks great. It may look like it in the pics but that is just stray hairs! Her eye whites are a bit faded and do not close, they move just a tiny bit. Stringing is nice and tight. Madame Alexander Doll “Charlotte Bronte”, made for the UFDC Dallas Convention in 2006. She is a Limited Edition of only 200 dolls & her Number is 51 out of the edition. She is Style Number 41935 standing about 10 tall and is a fully articulated doll. ++++PLEASE READ: Her shoes appear to be different colors in the first photo, but it is the camera flash. The shoes are both the same color (see other photos). She comes in the original box which is in good condition with minor storage wear & a dent on the lid (see photo). The pink tissue is intact with minor wrinkles (see photo). She comes with her COA, hang tag, doll club registration card & her straw hat still in the plastic bag. She was owned by an adult collector and has never been removed from the box. She has been stored in a climate controlled, smoke-free space. That value has increased since 2010. Up for sale is this EXTREMELY RARE 18 vintage Madame Alexander Cissy-faced Agatha doll from the Me and My Shadow series from 1954, in box. Of the more rare Me and My Shadow portrait series, Agatha is one of, if not the very most rare and hard to find dolls in that series. She has a very ornate outfit. She wears a pink, tagged, taffeta gown with purple and yellow eye loop trim, blue velvet forget-me-nots, gathers, flares, etc. It is fitted from the bodice to the hips, with gathers accentuating her hips, and very full gathered skirt. It has a stuffed bust (like the other me and my shadow and glamour girls should), and there is a slight stretching on her right breast seam, though the long ribbon tends to fall over it naturally. In the back there is a bow-like bustle, with wings that extend beneath, and a LONG decorated train. The sleeves have ruffled tulle on the underside. The tulle is a little brittle with ha section partially broken off on her left arm. Her bonnet is in lovely condition, with no breaks in the straw. It has a lovely pink moire ribbon weaving across the top with bows and tying in a bow under her chin. It has lovely blue and cream velvet forget-me-nots, and cream velvet forget-me-nots , and a couple perfect cabbage roses as well. She has a pink taffeta “parasol”, and pink Madame Alexander hat box. She has a beautiful dark brown hair in smooth hairdo with cured under ends pinned sleekly in the back. She does have some vintage glue residue at the top of her forehead just past the edge of the wig. It can best be seen in the photo of her laying down. I’ve heard it can be removed, but I will let the new owner decide if they want to so something about it. She has blue eyes, bright pink lips, and two strike brows. She has the lovely classic Cissy face so many love. Her box is in OK condition. It has a slight bend on one side and has a little seam separation where the bottom meets the wall of the box. Overall she is a lovely sample of an EXTREMELY RARE and hard to find doll. She doesn’t have odors and comes from a smoke free home. Here’s a charming vintage doll from the Madame Alexander Glamour Girl Series. She’s a walker doll and has the adorable Maggie face. She’s in very good condition and comes wearing her original tagged blue flowery print cotton dress with matching bonnet, hooped slip with attached panties, white lace gloves, hose, shoes and a beautiful additional vintage petticoat. She also comes carrying her MA black hatbox which is in excellent condition with the authentic Madame Alexander Fashion Academy medallion attached. Inside the box are the tiny original pink comb and hair curlers. The wire in her hoop skirt is somewhat bent. Her lace bonnet has 2 of the original 5 rosebuds. They show some wear. Her dress is in very nice condition with perhaps some slight fading. Also, the elastic in the sleeves has relaxed. One of her shoes has a strap that’s worn but the snap still works and the shoe stays on fine. This doll has a darling face with lightly blushed cheeks, red lips and eyeshadow. Her blue eyes open and close and all of her thick dark lashes are intact. Her gorgeous auburn wig is in its original style. Her walker mechanism works well and she holds poses perfectly.
