Introducing Deborah Ballerina of the Mystery Doll Collection – Alexander created six extraordinary dolls in 1951. Having never appeared in the Alexander catalogs, very little is known of these beautiful ladies. How many were made? Who were they inspired by? We may never know these answers, though what we do know is that Madame Alexander won a coveted’Fashion Academy Gold Medal’ for the original dolls. In 2016, Madame Alexander introduced the first three of the six’shadow’ Cissettes. The 2017 collection reveals the final three’Mystery Dolls’ and they are magnificent! Made of vinyl, 10 inch Deborah Ballerina is a striking, blue-eyed redhead. She is a fully-articulated (9 points of articulation) Cissette with jointing at her knees and elbows. Dressed as a Prima Ballerina in white Tutu embellished with rhinestones and floral rosettes. Glissenette tights and and ballerina slippers complete her ensemble. Oh my goodness, She’s a thing of beauty. Here I have a beautiful 21 inch 1949 to 1953 Margaret doll She is stamped “Alexander” on her neck. She is strung tight and has no breaks, cracks or odors. She has full thick lashes on eyes that open and close as they should. She has on her original mohair wig and is wearing a vintage 1950s lace and cotton gown with rhinestones on it and a fur stole. She also is wearing a vintage pearl necklace and her original shoes and nylons. The nylons have a small tear on the top right leg. She also has on her original satin underwear that snap in the back and a hoop underskirt. She also has a bonnet and purse. She will also come with her original tagged wedding gown and veil. MADAME ALEXANDER VINTAGE COMPOSITION WENDY ANN BRIDE DOLL ORIGINAL OUTFIT 18 tall. She is absolutely exquisite and all original. It is very hard to find a Wendy Ann doll in such amazing condition. All composition, sleep amber eyes, gorgeous painted facial features, rosy cheeks, grey eye shadow, single stroke brows, complete lashes, closed mouth with red lip color. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips, auburn brown mohair wig in it’s original style, she has all of her fingers and toes, her composition is tight and in near mint condition. She is wearing her original near mint cream color satin wedding gown (dress has a few very tiny brown stains on the front). This elegant and dressed-to-the-nines MIB doll is a Cissy Paris, produced in 1998 by Madame Alexander to celebrate the companys 75th anniversary. At 20 years of age, she is pristine, and has likely never been on display or out of her box for long. Her gorgeous two-piece suit, elegantly-fringed scarf and very French feathered hat are exquisitely-detailed. She is completely original down to her perfect black lace panty hose and matching houndstooth heels. She comes with a breath-taking feathered and bejeweled pin (See accessories photo) and not one, but two stunning jeweled bracelets. She wears extravagant jeweled earrings with a gold feather motif and a gold necklace with matching jewel enhancer. Her wrist tag has never been removed. She has the paler complexion and darker blue eyes that reflect shades of blue and gold that this older era of Cissys had. She has her original full brush lashes, sleep eyes that work, and even the subtle gray eye shadow which is hard to find. The shiny light blonde 50s hairdo is in original uncombed condition with a hard set as when new with original pins. Only a few fly away hairs from her hat. She has blush on cheeks, hands and knees, perfect red sumptuous lips and double stroke painted brows. Her lovely Tagged navy taffeta fitted dress with full skirt is vintage fifties fashion perfection with the gathered tulle sleeves and matching bolero jacket. The half slip is white taffeta with crinolin; white taffeta panties; stockings with seams in back THAT STILL HAVE GOOD ELASTIC; black heels with elastic that has lost a little stretch but very good for their age… Since most of this age are totally stretched out. SHE IS NICELY STRUNG and no cracks or splits. NOTE: There is not a blemish or stain on top of hat. The woven fibers used for hat are thicker in that area This doll is immaculate as well as her outfit and her Hat is the icing on the cake!!! I have NEVER seen this hat – EVER in this Spectacular condition!!! Well, you aren’t the only one! It seems this eye-popping Cissy has been stopping traffic all over town! She held this dress under wraps for quite a long time, but decided to wear it as summer will step aside for fall before you know it. It’s a gorgeous crispy & very colorful floral print with an inset band at the front waist, showing off Cissy’s figure. It closes at the back with square snaps… Look at the pretty little buttons adorning the back closure! What a beautiful detail! Underneath Cissy’s taffeta can-can slip is trimmed in bright pink. Ric-rac, and she has taffeta panties to match. Vintage hosiery & cute purple strappy sandals add to the details, which include pink rhinestone round earrings & a matching bracelet. Cissy also wears a pretty clear rhinestone ring & carries vintage bright pink gloves & a lucite purse, which is perfectly in keeping with her color scheme! This girl is really truly stunning.
