This is a lovely bobbed hair blonde Cissy doll wearing the hard-to-find 1957 cornflower blue sundress with red rick rack trim and rhinestone accents. The dress is in very nice clean condition. It is tagged Cissy and from the tag it appears that the dress has likely been washed. There are no stains, holes, or tears in the dress and all of the snaps are secure and present. The left bodice bust seam is just showing the beginning of pulling apart right at the waist but with a quick safety stitch it can easily be fixed. The slip is an original MA rickrack edged cancan slip. It is not particularly stiff so I think it has been washed. The elastic is only slightly relaxed. The panties are original Cissy panties and the waist elastic is stretched. The stockings, high heels, and bracelet are replacements. The hat and purse are Richard Originals. Her hair is in really nice shiny condition. Her eyes are the most beautiful sky blue color. She has been reblushed, reshadowed, and sealed and her lips have been repainted. She has no seam splits. Her head has a tiny bit of a wobble when you shake her. This Cissy is a beautiful doll and ready to display. Doll stand not included. Large photos are shown of this doll so please check them all out. She has been a treasured and very nicely-preserved 11 Madame Alexander Scarlett OHara. TMade in 1939, her composition is in excellent condition. Only slight paint rubs detected at joint s. Her black mohair wig is shiny and soft and as it was when she was brand new. She is original from her wonderful straw hat to her shoes and socks. Her dress has retained vibrant color and has no area that is stained or torn. She has clear blue eyes and her lashes are full. FROM THE HOME OF A SMOKING COLLECTOR. This doll is in lovely condition for a vintage doll She is a 14 Margaret face Madame Alexander from 1950. She has her bracelet but does not have shoes and her hairpiece was destroyed (I will send the remnants with her). Her dress has staining but is structurally sound with no damage. Her hair is in excellent set and her eyes work well. She will be due to restring soon but she currently is holding her head and limbs well. Her right hand has a bit of light damage on the top (perhaps cuts) but fingers and toes are fully intact in on all limbs. A nice doll from the 1950′s with a highly desirable Margaret face. This beautiful lady was bought from her original owner this last summer. She said she was never allowed to play with it and the condition makes me believe that is true. The dress in NOT tagged, but fits well and is definitely made with attention to detail. There are applied sequins on the skirt, but one is missing on the shoulder. Her panty hose and shoes have seen better days. There are holes in the stockings and the straps are broken on the shoes. In the pictures though please notice the blush still rosy on her knees. She has on no underwear but the dress has built in slips. The truly remarkable part of this doll is her hair which is still in its original set. There are barrettes and the remnants of her original hair net. I found the flower head piece in the box with her, but it is in rough shape. It has some little stones in it similar to the dress so I thought it went with. Overall the facial coloring is just gorgeous. I hope the pictures do her justice and I hope someone wants to give her a new home for Christmas. A very kind e-bayer sent me the following information about her–She is #2097 from 1955, she is missing an ostrich fan as well as her undies! The flowers do go with the gown, she is also minus her necklace. Thank you for your interest. I will try to address your questions one at a time. There is a tiny “boo-boo” on the very end of her nose. It is about the size of a common pin head. Her dress is really pretty. The stone on the shoulder in the front is missing. Upon further examination, there appear to be some tiny stones at the seam lines on the front panel. There are no cracks, I checked her legs and body. There does appear to be a small dot of paint? On her lower left arm. I will try to add a picture of this to the description. I will see what I can do or message me and I will send it to you directly On her lashes, they all appear to be there I THINK. In the center of the left eye, there may be a couple of lashes missing? I have to really get in her face to see it… If you think of anything else, please ask as this not the kind of doll I normally deal with. Beautiful hard to find 13 Madame Alexander Wendy Ann with molded hair. She is such a dainty doll, hauntingly beautiful. She is 13 inch and all composition with socket head, short brown molded curly hair, painted blue eyes, closed mouth with bow shaped lips, jointed at the shoulders and hips, and waist. She has been stored all these years, has her original box and wrist tag. She has a wonderful uncrazed face, beautiful coloring. There are a few rubs on the hair from laying in the box. Wendy wears her original tagged pink dotted Swiss dress, undies, and straw hat. Rayon socks and leather shoes complete the outfit. The doll is in beautiful condition, box is fair.
