This is an Amazing Amazing Amazing and Adorable piece! In fact, Michael Jackson had one of these pieces in his very own collection that was auctioned off after his death. This is a lovely and loved Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Bride Doll in her original outfit. It belongs to my mother who thinks she received it in the late 1940s. Some research indicates it might be model #1201 which would put it at 1955 (but that would be kind of old for my mother to be playing with dolls). Cissy has “MADAME ALEXANDER” embossed on the nape of her neck. I tried to show the ALEX part as I didn’t want to peel back the hair. She has the “Cissy” tag on the dress, so it was the original dress. She has movable joints. She is 21 inches tall. She has stockings on both her legs and even has her original garter belt. Somewhere along the way she lost her shoes. Her foot shape indicates that she had high heels, so perhaps she tossed them aside before dancing! Note that she has her lovely bracelet. And still has her eyelashes. Cissy’s veil is very long, and the end part is torn in places. However, this does not detract from her radiance. I have tried to show her petticoat and her undergarments. The sleeve details and rhinestones on the dress are intact. Dress is a tad yellowed and could use a nice dry cleaning. Comes from a NO SMOKING household. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part blonde wig. Original Deluxe Reading Candy chiffon dress embellished with. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched honey blonde wig in curls with bangs, the hair is swept over the part in the center, curls in the back. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and closes with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, ears are not pierced. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing an original 1950′s dress by Deluxe Reading in coral chiffon with and attached net petticoat and. With prong set rhinestones. Underneath she has ivory satin panties and black high heels with elastic straps and rhinestone buckles on the toes. The clothing is in excellent vintage condition, there is a very small darker spot on the hem of the dress, normal vintage flaws, no noticeable damage. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Blonde hair, triple stitched part, fancy. Wearing tagged pink negligee/ dress. Stockings, taffeta panties and white high heels. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has blonde hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls, she has a fancy up-do tied with the original threads on top and curls in the back, it is smooth with a nice sheen. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring, pierced ears with pearl earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. The gown is tagged, it is a pink silk negligee with lace trim, pink ribbon streamers. Underneath she wears pink taffeta panties, original seamed nylon stockings and white plastic molded high heels. Offered here is a gorgeous LE Modern Cissy doll, number 135 of 350 (see photo) redressed in a OOAK handmade pink dotted Swiss walking suit with matching full length skirt with train, flounced bustle jacket, shoulder shawl with ribbon trim and ties, and parasol. This doll stands 21 inches tall. She is the modern Cissy with twist waist, exquisite grey radial eyes and fabulous eye make-up , rosy cheeks, red lips and wonderful blonde updo hair in a riot of tight curls on the top of her head. She has the number of her edition on the back of her waist — she is number 135 of the 350 of this particular doll made. The fitted jacket features elbow length sleeves trimmed in lace , tiny round ball glass buttons all down the front (with hidden snaps beneath to close the fitted jacket), lace trim all way round the wonderful bustle at the hips, with long trailing pieces down the back. The A line skirt fits her fabulously well — snaps at the waist and has a long floor length train that processes behind her as she walks. The skirt is slightly higher in the front for ease of walking. Her beautiful pink satin high heel shoes with clear heels can be seen peeking out beneath her skirt. I have added a very full vintage, tiered ruffled slip edged in chiffon to give fullness to her skirt. She has light pink seamed thigh high hose and handmade beige lace panties with a tiny rosette. She wears a handmade period bra and that fastens with three tiny hooks and eyes and has white satin straps; see photo. She wears faux pink pearl drop earrings and a vintage necklace with a pink celluloid rose cameo over a metal religious medal base. The chain necklace fastens easily around her neck with a magnetic clasp! I have added this amazing RICHARD ORIGINAL pink fascinator hat to this gorgeous doll, as her crowning glory. It fits her head perfectly. The black elastic holds the hat in place on her cascading blonde curls. It is a wonderful hat, with dotted tulle that struts, blush rose peach pink chrysanthemums and rhinestones. The cape I put around her shoulders was the original hat that came with the outfit, but I prefer the gorgeous fussy hat by RICHARD, so put this other hat around her shoulders like a shoulder cape — and tied it snug under her beautiful bosoms to highlight her elegant figure. This lovely doll would make a wonderful addition to your collection or be a fabulous Easter gift. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. No props in the photos are included in this listing.
