This beautiful doll is clean and bright, ready for your collection. This vintage Cissy has a tagged tea-length gown of pink tulle. With flocked flowers dotting the pleated skirt. Original bouquet is attached at the waist. Highlighted by original pink satin ribbon tied low in the back. The lined lace bodice has pearl trim at the neckline. The underskirt is pale pink taffeta. Panties are original while taffeta with new elastic. Stockings are original, no shoes. Original blond shoulder length wig is in the original set. Clear green sleep eyes. Body is clean with firm stringing and joints at neck, shoulders. Elbows, hips and knees. She measures 20 tall. Please note these condition issues which may not appear in the photos. Lace bodice and underskirt have some sun damage. And I have stabilized them by hand stitching to matching tulle. One hand has a mark on the ring finger. Nylon stockings have holes at the toes. Here for sale is a Madame Alexander Peggy Bride hard plastic, Margaret faced, 18 doll, she is stunning and pose beautifully! Her face has beautiful color, eyelashes are full, eyes working and her hair is in original set with the matching vintage flowers as the ones she hold. Her dress is really hard to find in this good condition with few tiny holes on her shoulder and light water marks. Her underskirt has some staining due to her age, but is hiding underneath. Simply Gorgeous Madame Alexander Cissy Doll in Red Floral Cotton. Haute Couture Designer Dress by the Brilliant Designer Seamstress sewspecialties268. Cissy wears a gorgeous full red floral cotton dress with a bit of a drop waist. The bodice is embellished with three flat back diamond crystals and a black velvet bow. This dress was specifically designed as an haute couture outfit by Karen Parker of sewspecialties268. A full white taffeta crinoline enhanced petticoat and panties complete the dress. Cissy wears black lace enhanced gloves and a large black straw hat adorned with red velvet flowers. Her ensemble is completed with stockings and red, crystal embellished strappy high heels. Cissys body is in excellent condition with no splits or cracks. There has been one flawless invisible repair to her upper left thigh. Her lovely blonde coloured. Hair is perfectly coiffed into a do with bangs and a curly ponytail. Her blue blue eyes open and close perfectly and all her joints operate smoothly. Wendy is dressed in the cutest outfit and I believe it is named Wendy Looks as Sweet As A Lollipop (#326). She is a bend knee hard-plastic walker doll from 1957. This Alexander-kins is as cute as can be in her tagged dress and matching panty. The outfit itself is stiff polished cotton and like new except for a very tiny dot on the back of her skirt. This gorgeous Cissy has had a spa treatment to her face. Slight blush added and some matte finish applied. She has her original eyelashes and her eyes are a dark blue with just the beginnings of some green. The flash makes her eyes look more green than they really are. She has had her lips repainted a pretty red. She has a lovely Yardley style brunette wig. It is full and clean. It has nice curl in the back and is very easy to keep turned under, and looks nice loose as in the nude pictures or tied back with a ribbon, which is how she will come to you. She has normal wear to the neck area and inner thigh. She has nice arms that have no rips or tears. She is newly restrung to head and arms. She has had upper leg and lower outside knee repair and repaint on the left leg. Cissy’s chemise has been soaked clean. It has all snaps, though the top snap area is stretched. Her shoes are very nice Cissy mule shoes. The back elastic is stretched a bit, but they do stay on for a standing pose. Stand, chair and boa are props and are not included. Because there are so many people doing repairs on these lovely dolls and I have been asked many questions, I would like to clarify a bit of the work I do. I have had training in repairs and have been doing them for many years. My spa treatments are done with solvent based paints that are air brushed on, the same that are used on plastic bumpers on cars. The paint is UV protected and is permanent and will not rub off. The paint is also sealed with a UV protectant sealer. It also is permanent and will not yellow or wash off. I remove the eyes through the neck opening and replace them back the same way once eyelash and eye repair is finished. I do NOT split the head open, nor would I recommend it. I try to always think of the long term effects of my repairs and fixes. As for the clothing I make, I try to make them as close to an original design as possible. I also try to use vintage 50′s fabrics as often as I can. If I do not, I will always state so. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. Pictures are part of the description. Vintage Madame Alexander 1950′s Cissette is Dressed in Pink Polished Cotton Dress with White Bib of Val Lace and Buttons Style #909 of 1957 as Shown on Page 148 in Marjorie Merod’s “Cissette a Complete Guide”. Doll and Outfit are in New Condition. I took them Out of Original Box. Outfit Comes with with Taffeta Slip and Panties, both Trimmed With Val Lace. The Hat was also Included in the box. I have Added Pink Stockings and Shoes. There is a very small pin prick sized black spot near hem of skirt which is barely noticeable and I haven’t tried to remove it. Cissette Doll has Lovely Face.
