This exceptionally Rare piece is in Excellent Condition with no rips, tears or holes. Original snap closures are present as are original rhinestones, velvet ribbon, and corsage. The dress fabric is crisp. There is some overall soiling, especially near neckline, and a faint spot on the front. Please see photos for condition detail. Here is a VHTF Sun Dress for Cissy in NEAR MINT CONDITION!! These sun dresses are so difficult to come by and are so popular with collectors. 2 variations of Sun Dresses were made for Cissy using this fabulous fabric. It is a soft sateen cotton with a nice sheen. The color and size of the polka dots are a very iconic look for the mid-century. CONDITION: This dress is NEAR MINT. It has NEVER been laundered and it has not yellowed. The rick rack and bows retain their RED color and there is no bleeding to the dress. The faux buttons in the front are all present as well. The tag is nice and bright too. This the the exact dress that was photographed on page 62 of the Cissy! The only flaw I would like to point out is that the thread has faded on the shoulder bows. The coloring is nice and bright…. The close-up photos appear more washed out… I struggle with detail photos and retaining the vibrancy in the photos… The coloring is VIBRANT. A GREAT PIECE TO ADD TO YOUR CISSY COLLECTION. Please look over the photos carefully and READ the. Don’t think it has been washed. It’s worth restoring. For your consideration a lovely Alexander Kins doll in a bridal gown. She is #615 made in 1956. She Hard Plastic Bend Knee Walker. Her gown is nylon tulle with a ribbon sash at the waistline that ties into a bow on her back. Veil is also nylon tulle and matches the gown. Attached to the gown at the waist is taffeta slip. Her headpiece has miniature flowers attached to her veil. She is 8″ tall and has blond hair and it is tagged “Alex’ on her back. Her gown is tagged Alexander Kins. The doll is very clean without rips, cracks or stains. Her clothing is in excellent condition without tears, rips or discolorations. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red wig. Handmade one-of-a-kind lavender silk rose dress. Petticoat, lavender ankle tie high heels, panties. Original vintage hat with matching flower trim and vintage hat pin. Rhinestone earrings, pearl and rhinestone necklace. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with vinyl jointed arms. Stitched part red wig tied and pulled back at the side with curls on top and long curls at the back of the neck. Blue-green sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, pierced ears with rhinestone tear drop earrings. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She has a vintage pearl necklace with a rhinestone bow drop. She is wearing a fabulous handmade custom gown, it has a label inside, it is vintage 1970-80′s. The gown is lavender silk with handmade and sewn rolled lavender silk roses, they have raw fringed edges and cover the entire gown. The dress snaps in back and has a large silk bustle back bow. The front is ruched and gathered, accented with rosettes. Is a very full layered taffeta and tulle petticoat with lace trim, this is an Alexander slip. She has white lace panties and lavender molded plastic high heels with ankle straps. The hat is vintage 50′s straw trimmed with matching lavender flowers and ribbons, it has a vintage copper hat pin with a lavender blown glass top. Minor rubs from age in the joints and neck and a tiny few fly aways on the hair, there are some minor rough edges on the tips of the. Noticeable unless very closely inspecting. 1950′s Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Bride. All original, no spa work. Beautiful blue eyes and tosca hair in hairnet. She is a strung doll with one piece slender arms and her sparkling faux diamond ring. She has no splits, cracks or odors. Her gown is in excellent shape. There are no flaws in it, but it has been in storage so shows some wrinkles. Her original two layer petticoat has has no damage but relaxed elastic. She has original minty panties and hose. The gown is tagged Cissy. Her shoes are silver replacements and her bouquet is a reproduction. She will hold a pose but would benefit from being restrung. I have her tied to her stand. She has her hair bar and original faux pearl earrings and her faux pearl necklace. There is a split in her veil that is hidden when displayed. See the photos and you can hardly see it. She is beautiful example of this gorgeous bride doll from the 1950′s. I will happily answer any questions or send more photos. I will insure and send with signature required for safety. Let me present to you, the serious Alexander collector, a rare & hard to find BINNIE WALKER. She is mint in my opinion. She is all original right down to her shoes & socks. Her red taffeta dress is vibrant & crisp. Her original nautical felt jacket has all the original golden buttons, anchors & stars just like new. Binnie’s head turns when she walks as it should. Her rooted skull cap is thick and in original set. She’s even still wearing her original felt sailor styled hat. Not sure if the pompom was originally red but it is rather pink now. I have not undressed this doll but added a couple photos of hip joint and bottom side. This may be a once in a lifetime chance to own a 24 Binnie Walker in this condition.
