Madame Alexander Dolls

This doll is like new, with her beautiful complexion that I believe is untouched, and her ballet costume that is original, complete, and in excellent condition. The flowers have retained their color. She is clean, tightly-strung, odor-free and without any fading. She has her original pearl earrings and they are in excellentllent condition. She has her original tights and ballet slippers. She holds a pose easily. Her hair is a beautiful, clean and shiny auburn in the original set. But the doll came through just perfectly. Shes gorgeous, but I never had Elises as a child and I have a few now but I just cant love them. Ill be listing them all in the next several weeks, along with clothes for them. The only issues I see with her, which I would consider minor ones, is a slightly lazy eye which goes away depending on how her head is set. Some of her lashes over that eye are bent a bit. Her flower headpiece elastic strap on one side has come loose from its staples so it is currently tied on one side to the headpiece. I think it can be restapled. Vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Strawberry blonde hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged pink Ballerina dress. Pink pearl drop earrings. Fancy original hair style. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has strawberry blonde. Hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in the most of the original lovely curls, it is in a fancy style with side curls at the face, pulled back in curls and longer length in the back, tied with a pink satin ribbon. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, lovely coloring. She has pierced ears with pink pearl drop earrings. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged pink ballerina tutu dress, it has a satin body suit and crisp net layered skirt adorned with velvet. Flowers and leaves, sprinkled with rhinestones. There are some splits in the under layer of the net but does not show unless looking thru the folds. The color is a pale creamy pink. She has a matching floral crown. An infused doll means the body color was “infused” into the plastic, not painted on as the earlier Cissys were. This doll head is shown alone and on a body, but this sale is for just the head. The head is clean and has no odors, stains, cracks. The wig has been cleaned and retains its original curls. The sides have been tied back and a new spanner bar installed. The curls will need a bit more styling. The face has had blush added and a sealer applied. The eyes have full original lashes. The head does have earring holes. Earrings are original pearl Cissy earrings that have lost their “pearl” coating. The head has the attachment hook inside. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. Her Her is still in net. She is in beautiful condition. She did have her face blushed. She lokks like she was never played with her hair is still in net with bar. Up for your consideration is a vintage set of 1930′s Dionne Quintuplet 7 dolls in an adorable wooden crib. They are unmarked on the bodies or heads so I can’t really tell if they are Madame Alexander dolls. Each bent-leg doll is composition and wear original clothing. Three of the dolls clothes match to fabric pattern except for different colors. Two of the dolls have the same style clothing as the others but different fabrics. They all have marching booties tied with coordinating ribbons. Each has matching bonnets with ribbon ties. The doll dresses and flannel diapers are safety pinned. The faces have original paint with dark hair, side-glancing eyes, painted lashes, eyebrows and red lips. The dolls have some slight crazing on their heads. One of the dolls has some cracks on her face (yellow dress). Another has some chipping (solid pink dress). The bodies are all in very good condition for age. The crib measures 12 1/2″L x 8″W x 9H.
